8 - Returning To The Sets

𝙔/𝙣'𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙫:

It has been a week since the dinner between my family and Tom's. It was such a fun night.

{Flashbacks}

Me and Tom were now outside by the courtyard. Laying down on the grass.

I then noticed how much the colour of sky changed. As if the night was getting deeper.

"Is it just me or is the sky getting darker every hour?" I pointed out to Tom.

"No it's not just you. I noticed it too. The night seems to be getting deeper." Tom answered

"But the stars look wonderful. Even the moon itself." I said, smiling goofily.

In the corner of my eyes I saw Tom looking at me. But then adjusted his gaze towards the sky

But the stars did look amazing. While the moon looked mesmerizing.

I continued stargazing, trying to find some type of stars that had a pattern.

By then Tom suddenly yelled that a shooting star came.

"Make a wish! Quick!" He said making one himself. Then I made one myself too.

"Wow, you noticed that by no time!" I pointed out, smiling cheekily.

"Who wouldn't notice when your literally looking at it" Tom laughs as I joined in

"Shur up Felton. By the way, what did you wish for?" I asked as I focused my gaze upon the moon.

"I can't tell you" He smiled at the sky.

I look at him with curiosity, even my expression showed. I wanted to laugh.

"Because it won't come true if I say it out loud!" Tom laughed at my silly-ness. Making me release a small chuckle.

The night was indeed fun. Not to mention smacking Tom by the arm. I laughed at the memory.

Tom himself was a positive kid, but he had no hope for himself.

I mean he had hopes but it literally was so little. He even doubts himself.

I also heard the directors talking about Tom's performance by playing as Draco. They were quite impressed. They even put a real wig on him. I knew because I was there by then. He looked quite ridiculous in it but he pulled the character well.

His face even said he really wanted the wig off and I literally have to cover my mouth back then because of how much I wanna burst out laughing.

Anyways, speaking of characters...today was the day we'd return to sets to know who got the roles.

Quite exciting isn't it? But at the same time nerve wrecking. Like who was gonna get who? Are we gonna get them? Or will somebody else do? You can think so much when you're nervous. Like literally.

Right now, I am still in the my room fixing up on small things. Such as my outfit and hair. However I am quite ready.

“Y/n love! Let's go! We're gonna be late!” mum yelled

“Be there in a sec!” I replied

“I'll be in the car outside,meet me there!”

“In a sec! Mum!” I replied quickly looking my self again in the mirror to assure nothing was out of place.

Okay,my hair was fine. Outfit had no wrinkles or stain at all. Now we shall go.

After checking up one more time I finally rushed downstairs and said bye to Dad. Mum and I were leaving earlier than Dad for he has a afternoon schedule this day.

After that I headed to the door. By the time I got outside, Mum was already inside the car. Patiently waiting for me.

As she saw me she smiled. “Hop in love.”

As I hopped in the car I returned the smile.

“Put your seatbelt on n/n.” Mum reminded. I smiled and did so.

“Ready,now let's go!” I exclaimed excitedly as Mum laughed.

Time skip to lunch time...

It has been a few hours since Mum left me off the sets. And holy guacs,the results of has gotten the roles was still not posted.

I even heard that they were still picking. And some other's being replaced from side to side.

It was quite boring waiting there but not so much when Tom was dropped by.

He came in a little bit later than me. By then we just sat there and chatted while waiting for the results to be posted.

While the other's was basically doing the same just like the audition's. Some other's chatting while some other's gushing over how the ‘y/n miller’ was here again.

It was getting annoying but I didn't bother to speak up, I'd only smile if I look at them

Anyways,right now it's currently lunch time.

Most of the people in the halls are emptied out but there was still others,
including Tom and myself.

Me and Tom are basically waiting for our Mum's to pick us up for lunch then drop us by again.

And a few more minutes of waiting our Mum's did show up. And weirdly at the same time.

They seem like they were chatting about some stuff or what,but then splitted up to come towards me and Tom.

“Hi love.” Mum greeted me with a smile and kiss on the cheek.

I returned the gesture and greeted her and Tom's mum as well.

“Sooo! Did you both get the roles?” mum asked while Mrs. Felton listened to Tom and I.

“Well no.” Tom and I laughed.

“Aw. That's okay, there's still lots of other roles to audition for.” Mrs. Felton smiled at the both of us,patting our shoulders.

“No,not like that Mrs. Felton.” I laughed sheepishly and so did Tom.

“Then what?” Our mum's smiled.

“Well we don't know if we have gotten the roles yet, for the results has not been posted.” Tom explained with a laugh.

“Exactly what Tom said.” I added and our mum's let a small ‘oh.’ then laughed.

“Well I suppose you guys have to stay here longer?” Mum asked looking at Tom and I

“Yes mum. But right now everyone's having lunch. So we should too.” I said as they nodded in agreement.

“Then let's go! Sharon,Tom, would you like to join me and y/n for lunch?” Mum asked Mrs. Felton and Tom.

(Okay,I really don't know if google is telling me the truth about the actual name of his mum, like I really don't know if its her real name. So if I'm wrong please correct me guys!)

“Yeah sure. If it wouldn't bother you guys” Mrs. Felton smiled.

“Not at all! Let's go sweethearts?” Mum asked, specifically towards me and Tom.

Tom and I smiled at each other and yelled ‘Let's go!’ at the same time. Making our Mum's laugh.

Hey loves! I hope you guys are not getting quite bored in these chapters haha. I know there has not been much sweet interactions between Tom and Y/n but please understand this is a slow burn book and the characters are way too young to start talking about relationships or just flirting. However, I will be causing more love-dovey things as they get older in this book,ofc what's a romance book when the characters don't actually make moves,right? haha! Anyways, that's all I wanna say,I hope you all are doing well!
