2 - The Park

Y/n's pov:

It was basically the next day,and now I'm eating breakfast with mum and dad.

Today,I had no plans so I decided to go out and go to the park later.

Mum and dad also have things to do today, first of all they have work to finish and paper works to finish.

So I was basically by my own,most of weekdays they're like this but they never failed to make me happy and loved.

Even if most of times their busy,they always try to put more time aside for me.

And I'm very much grateful for them.

Nevertheless,it was around 9:40 am when I finished breakfast.

After washing up the dishes I headed upstairs to my room and stayed there for a while.

I decided to continue reading the recent book I've red'.

And a few minutes later mum and dad basically had to leave.

After they called me,I headed downstairs to say goodbye.

“We'll be off to work darling,be good and don't do anything that could burn the house down okay?” mum joked as I laughed.

“I won't burn the house down I promise” I laughed.

“Also don't forget to feed luna okay?” dad reminded.

Luna is the our dog whom we have for almost a year now.

As a response to him I simply nodded and smiled.

“We'll go now,and by the time we get here there will be a response from our email.” Mum said excitedly.

I completely forgot about the email. But nevertheless I was quite excited too.

“Oh and by the way mum dad,I wanted to go out on a stroll in the park later,can I?” I asked for their permission.

Mom and dad look at each other.

“Yeah sure. Just don't stay out late okay?” Mum said with a strict look.

“Okay. I'll be home before dark.” I smiled at them and they did the same.

“Good. We really have to go now darling. Please take care.” Dad said as he kissed my forehead and mum doing the same.

I stood there and watched as they exited the door and headed towards the car.

After that I went upstairs to my bed room and continued reading.

A few hours later...

It has been a few hours since mum and dad left for work and reading was getting a little boring for me, so I've decided to dress up and go to the park.

I was planning to go there later but I was getting bored. So why not just go right now right?

I also thought of bringing luna with me,since I was just going for a walk. And might as well bring her too.

I got dressed then left the house. Of course, locking it before actually leaving.

I also had plans to go to the near city library to get some books I could borrow.

On my way there my stupid shoe laces kept untying. Worst part it untied in the middle of the park.

So I was basically kneeling down and kept tying them up, after that I was going to get up but then-

Bosh!

Someone or something had crashed into me.

“Well,ow.” I shortly reacted when my butt hit the ground hard. Causing it to have a harsh landing.

I then looked up at the person whom crashed into me.

It was a boy in my age. He was tall,has brown hair with blue mystical eyes, who had a kind aura.

After he caught me looking at him he flashed me a smile and offered his hand.

I gratefully took it and stood up as I dusted myself down.

“I'm sorry,I wasn't really looking to where I was going” he said with a shy smile.

I looked at him and said “don't worry about it. Are you in a rush?” I asked with a polite smile.

“Yes I was,again I really am sorry for this. But I really got to go now. Mum is probably looking for me.” he said

I was about to ask his name when he just flashed me a goofy smile and took off running.

I laughed to my self. Weirdo.

He was also the first one to not scream in my face that they've met the Y/n miller.

Nevertheless I didn't really think much about it. Then continued to walk with luna, looking at shops on the way.

Back at a home...

It has been a few hours since I got back from my trip to the park.

I had walked around the park looking at stuff and shops,but at the same time it was quite tiring. Nevertheless fun.

After I got home I also took a nap,as I woke up mum and dad were already home.

And right now I'm currently walking downstairs to go and eat dinner.

As usual mum and dad greeted me with hugs and kisses and I returned the gesture.

I then proceeded to sit and get myself food.

A few minutes later mum and dad talked about their day and we all continued eating.

“How was you day darling?” dad suddenly asked as he continued to chew

“It was pretty good. As I said earlier I did go to the park with luna.” I replied as I continued to eat.

“Did you have fun strolling around?” mum by then asked,smiling at me.

“Of course,but it was quite tiring. My feet hurts.” I said as I whined acting as if I were really tired making them both laugh.

“Have some rest after dinner then.” mum suggested with a smile.

“Will definitely do mum.” I said with a goofy grin.

It has been a few hours after dinner and I'm currently preparing for bed when mum suddenly called downstairs.

Basically yelling my name. It sounded like she needed help,so I rushed down stairs in a panic

Thoughts began to pop out of nowhere.

What could've happened to mum?!

Did she slip?!

Did she hit her head?!

Crazy thoughts just coming from nowhere as I reached downstairs I rushed to find her.

And I found her screaming and beaming in the living room with dad while facing her laptop.

I hate it when mum always screams. And crazy me thinking there's always an accident.

I sighed as I came closer to them.

“You guys should literally stop screaming like that. You guys scare the living day lights out of me.” I said annoyed.

“Sorry hun. I was just so excited! They responded! Look!”
