Y/n's pov:
(After two months later..)
It has been awhile now since we got the results from sets and I am now packing up some belongings that I am going to take with me to the sets.
It has been two months to be exact and it is now January 14, 2000.
The audition started by the middle of November and ended by the first week of December. The results were finalized by the second week and posted.
(The actual schedule/ month they had chosen the cast was around august of 2000 . And they started filming by September 2000 till March of 2001 according to Wikipedia. I don't know if it is true. However if it is, I just wanted to note that I made up this little schedule up loves, and changed the actual time/date purposely for the storyline^_^)
It's crazy how fast time flies by, it was like I just blinked and boom! It's already the 2000's!
Besides that, I'm also leaving for the sets by tomorrow at noon. Mum and Dad are probably going to cry again haha! Mostly Mum though. She was always the emotional one between the three of us.
I mean I'd miss them too! It will be a year without them, but I believe that Chris is a organized and strict on schedule director. So we'll probably finish faster than normal movies take to film
Or if we do actually take longer than a year we'd probably have a break or so, like a summer break or Christmas break. Just like school, instead it's for shooting
Tom and I also spent lots of time together, just hanging out. Even our parents joined in sometimes, the Felton's even came over for new year's eve! The Felton's actually stayed here for the new year's, we had so much fun together. Just like a big, huge family.
We ended 1999 with laughter and joy. And of course we greeted the new year with our loved ones by our sides.
Anyways, it was now 6:34 pm. By the time I finished packing, Mum had already called down for dinner
After a few minutes I headed down to see Mum and Dad already seated. Awaiting for my arrival
As they saw me they gave me a smile, kind of a sad one. And this was probably going to be a emotional night. Ah.
"Hi Mum, Dad" I greet them as well as kissing them on their cheeks then proceeded to sit.
"Why hello sweetheart. Did you finish packing your things?" Mum smiled and started handing out plates
"I actually did, barely fit them in one. So I had to get a separate bag for some other stuff." I laughed then started placing food onto my plate
"Well that's good. Are you sure your not forgetting anything?" Dad asked
"Well, I don't think so." I say starting to eat. And after a few more mouthful serving later, the table has finally quieted down.
I look at Mum and Dad, they were both exchanging looks. Mum looks like she's trying not to be emotional while Dad is comforting her with his meaningful gazes.
"Mum, Dad. You guys don't have to be sad! It's just a small period of time. Like a few months or so! Then we'll be together again. Or I'll visit you both" I say assuring them
"We know sweetheart, but we can't help but miss you. You'll be gone for a year! you do know a year consists of 12 months right?" Mum says, with a sigh
I chuckled lightly at Mum's silly question, then responded, "I am well aware of that Mum. Plus it wouldn't probably take a whole year just for this film, however if it does...there will probably be a break. Meaning I'll be coming home from time to time. Please trust me on this". I say passing them both a smile
"N/n has point a point my love. We should trust her on this one. You know her well, she'll always keep in mind your's and my rules." Dad says holding Mom in his arms. Mum looked at Dad as he smiled at her with a comforting smile
"I do trust you love. It's just that Mummy and Daddy will miss you so much...you know it's not the same when your not around. Especially the first time you left, the house has been awfully different and quiet". Mum says with sad eyes.
"No matter how far or how much I grow, just remember that I am still your little princess guys. It will never change" I say pretending to have crown and being posh, making Mum and Dad chuckle
Mum laughed and so did Dad, "You promise my love?" Mum asked jokingly, accompanied by a small chuckle
I smiled at her and said, "Of course, Mummy".
They both smiled then Dad piped in saying, "Okay, now group hug!" He says engulfing Mum in a hug then mentioning me to join. I gladly did so, being engulfed in a huge bear hug.

{time skip to the next day}
I can't believe it was almost time to leave for the sets and staying there for some time. I was gonna be away from them again.
I was currently in my room, checking up some things in my luggage if I had everything I needed. My luggage was basically all clothes that Mum packed. She insisted on picking them out since she said she had "better" taste in fashion than I had, which was kind of true heh...
And as for my other bag (the duffle bag to be specific), had my personal things. Such as everyday essentials like a hair brush, tooth brush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and ect. It also contained extra clothes and that was most likely it.
It was now 9:21 am, I was gonna leave in a few minutes for it was a 4 hour long drive from England to the United Kingdoms. Yes, we were filming in United Kingdom, not from the actual set we have auditioned here in London. It was far, but at least it was not in another state, or else Mum would of not approve of me going
Chris actually had mentioned that we will not be filming in London, so Mum was quite aware from the very beginning. The exact location where we are filming is at Alnwick Castle at United Kingdom. For the first thoughts, I actually thought that everything will only be on a green screen. Like the places, scenes and ect, but I guess not. It would be fun filming there though, for in the free time we could always explore around.
Besides that, I just finished checking my essentials and a minute later Mum called downstairs.
"Y/n sweetheart! Come now! You still have a 4 hour long drive to sets!" Mum yelled
I took a deep breath and exhaled. Ah. This was it, the start of a new chapter.

Woosh! That was quite a long chapter ain't it my loves? If I actually kept going this would've been a 2,000 long chapter, it would've made you guys bored 🤣. Anyways, I hope y'all liked this chapter! And I will pretty much see y'all in the next one! Take care as always and stay safe.
