17 - The United Kingdoms

Tom's pov:

Today is the day the cast will be leaving for the first official filming for Harry Potter, two months has passed since the auditions and the actual casting

It was a new year already. January 15, 2000 to be exact. We actually spent the new year's with the Miller's, welp in simple words, with Y/n's family.

For the past months N/n and I always tried to spend as much time with our loved ones for we know, we'd be gone for some time. And if it actually takes a year long of filming, we'd only see them in breaks. Such as coming home for christmas, halloween and any other special occasions/seasons.

And keep in mind it was only the start of the year, meaning we still had a long way to go for filming

Besides that, we actually have to film quite far from our homes. Instead of filming in the set where we had auditioned here in London, we'll be filming in the United Kingdoms. It was basically a 4 hour and 30 minutes long drive from our house. While y/n's was closer there by only 4 hours of travel to be exact.

I also heard we'll be moving to different locations from time to time. Such as going to the original sets and going to a actual place. The sets also had rooms, it was like a hotel type of style, there's different rooms per scenes and actual rooms for actresses/actors to settle in.

But Chris did mention that we'll mostly be traveling back and forth. Which I don't really know how to react, considering that I'm not much of a traveler. I mean I like traveling but not so much with the same old back and forth thing.

Aside from that, I am ready to leave for the trip. Mum also just called downstairs and said that Y/n was already on her way to the set.

I only packed a trunk. Or basically a luggage. Most of the stuff I packed or basically Mum packed just fitted in nicely. So I didn't have to bring big bags.

As I got down, Mum and Dad was already waiting for me

“Ready to go son?” Dad smiles and took my luggage

I just smiled and nodded in response, “Are you sure your not forgetting anything sweetheart?” Mum piped in as she opened my trunk

I laughed silently, “I don't think so Mum”

I said but she still kept checking making Dad and I laugh, “Are you sure? Have you gotten your extra shirts? Essentials? A toothbrush?” she asks looking at my stuff frantically

“I am sure Mum. Plus how can you even forget anything when you packed my trunk yourself” I smiled then Mum stopped and closed the trunk awkwardly then looked at Dad and I as she chuckled.

“Okay yeah, sorry. Mum's just a little uneasy sweetheart.” she smiled at both Dad and I, of course I returned one.

“I understand Mum. It's my first time going away anyways.” I smiled

“Are you ready to go for your trip?” she asks the same question as Dad while I responded with a simple smile and nod

“Alright. But promise Mummy that you'll call me whenever you can. Do you understand darling?” Mum smiles and bent down a little as she held my shoulders

“Got that Mum. Loud and clear” I smile, reassuring her as she pulled me into a hug

4 hours later...

“Tom, son. Wake up, we're ten minutes away from sets”. I heard Dad call out my name that made my senses wake up and so as my self.

I opened my eyes to see that we were already in the United Kingdoms. It was quite different here than London, but they were still similar in a way. But they are two different cities, but London was the biggest of all cities here in England.

One thing that I did notice from what they had in common is the city streets being always busy and filled with cars, every direction you look, it looks jammed with people, but London is far worse than here

But I bet if you lived far from the city, then it would be peaceful and just quiet

The UK is far better than London, yes it may be packed with people but not as packed as London.

All this thing that I am experiencing right now, is such a haze for me. I think N/n feels the same too, we kinda have this feels that we share together. I know it might sound weird but it's something we share haha.

I really can't believe that I am now starring in a movie, lika an actual movie! It's just all so, surreal and crazy to me

It's crazy to think that someone like me, will get the chance to be a artist. Like a celebrity.

Because after all, I am just a simple boy, living his life with his family and crazy popular bestfriend. But now, I am entering the world of actors and actresses.

And that day, is finally happening today.

And here all begins. Filming, here I come.

Well that took me a long time to write haha! It's been awhile since I updated aye? Really sorry for this delay my loves, your lazy author has been very busy and filled up with home work🤦‍♀️, it's been quite hard to update at these times for school is now on and break is still far. However I am trying my best to continue updating as much as I can, I'm also sorry for this short chapter loves, I plan on adding Y/n's pov here but I really want it to be a special chapter for the start of their filming journey, it won't be long so look out! Don't miss one chapter;)
