"Damn it."

I'm so confused right now.

I woke up with a throbbing headache, still at The Last Drop. Dropping some money where I was sitting before getting up to leave. I need to find her. I need to keep a close eye on her, for Jinx.

I return to higher grounds trying to seek out Vi and her Enforcer friend. Nothing. I try out a few different spots, waiting at each one just hoping for one of them to show themselves. Instead I was left to preoccupy myself, which meant playing with my nails, watching as Silco's underlings did their patrols, spying on Maverick as he slacked off from his duties that Silco assigned to him.

Hours must have passed before I actually see them again, and actually... it looks to be just Vi. Looking closer at the scene below, Vi is fighting off about seven people. After watching Vi take a couple of punches to the face, I let out a sigh and head down there to offer up some help.

Vi's punches are pretty impressive, she did study under Vander after all. It was pretty obvious that she took those lessons to heart, because they have paid off. She started off strong, with fluid punches, effortless dodges, and even redirecting the other guy's moves against each other.

However, even if the other seven guys were now starting to show exhaustion- heavier breaths, wobbling around, and even drops of blood coming from some of their noses, mouths, or even knuckles. She was outnumbered. Those guys have gotten used to fighting in a pack even if some members were almost down. They were shimmer addicts, not completely gone yet to the drug, but getting close.

She was struggling to keep up with them. Once she had one down two more swarmed her. Her punches started to lose momentum, and she was close to getting backed into a corner. I had to do something, I had to step in. No way I was letting this happen under my watch to Jinx's sister.

I came up behind one of them tapping on their shoulder, when he looks back I give him a quick strike at the throat. Just enough to cause enough pain that he scatters the scene quickly. The others take notice as they are all are starting to become affected by the exhaustion. Glancing my way, they collectively make the decision to run for it. Probably not wanting to cause any problems for one of Silco's guys.

My attention goes to Vi, who is breathing pretty hard but trying to keep up the tough attitude as she keeps her fists up. I roll my eyes at this as I turn away from her. I stopped them, maybe I should just go now. Scratching my head as I think this over, maybe I should just run off.

"[Y/N]... thanks, for that..."

"Yeah, no problem..."

Should I... just run? How do I get myself out of this situation?

"Tell me, why does Powder work for Silco? What did Silco do to her?"

"Silco did nothing to her, except offer her kind words and encouragement when no one else did. She had to, at first, Vi. She couldn't have made it on her own, but now she does it because she wants to."
