Imperfect Love

Both Rudra & Preesha feel happy being with each other. Preesha sits besides him.

Preesha: Hello Mr. Khurrana!! How are you feeling now?

Rudraksh: I'm feeling great!

Preesha: (smiling) How so fast huh??

Rudra: Aapke aa jaane se...umm, I mean, medicines worked, you know??

Preesha giggles. They start talking about things before it's time to change the bandage. Suddenly, Preesha gets a call, so she goes to attend it.

Rudra thinks, "How sweet she is!! I feel so happy by her mere presence. i have never felt so attached to someone like this! It's like I never want to leave this place...never leave her ?!"

He finds himself thinking only about Preesha. 🤭

Preesha comes back and says, "Ok Mr. Khurrana! Now, you can meet your family members..umm, actually, I have some work with you...so, can I talk to you before you go home? Also, your bandage needs to changed!!"

Rudra nodded his head in affirmation. Preesha turned to go out but Rudra stopped her. He said, "Dr. Preesha! I just wanted to thank you for saving my life...you nursed me even when you were not supposed to do! I know, as a doctor it is your responsibility, but it still is very huge for me...I could've literally died..."

"Ok ok Mr. Khurrana!" Preesha said stopping Rudraksh. "It's ok! But, a Thank You is not enough..I need a favour!"

"What?" asked Rudraksh

"You'll get to know that super soon! But, your family is waiting outside now! So first, meet them!" She said with a smile and left. Sharda & Rajeev rushed in the room, followed by Ahana & Balraj. Sharda saw Rudraksh and started crying. She sat besides him and he laid down on her lap. Sharda said sobbing, tears falling from her eyes, "Do you even have an idea how worried we all were for you?? I felt like I wasn't alive the moment I came to know about you!! All thanks to mata rani that you are here!! Without you, I'm nothing my son." 

Rudraksh got up and wiped her tears. He relieved her & said, "But, I'm here! All safe and sound! And, you're crying instead of being happy? I'm too selfish to let go of myself & this world, especially you! Now, smile? C'mon! I'm dying to see that smile"

Sharda smiles beneath those tears and hugs her. 

Preesha knocks on the door.

Everyone turns to the door and Rudraksh asks her to come in. 

Preesha says, "I'm really sorry for the interruption! Actually, I just have to change the bandage once and that's it! You can take him home later!"

Sharda says to Preesha, " Thank you for saving my son's life, doctor!"

Preesha smiles. Everyone leaves & Preesha starts changing his bandage. 

She says, "You've got such a sweet family!! You guys must be living life so happily!"

Rudraksh replies, "It's not actually like that. I mean, even our family has problems..by the way, you asked me for some favour, right?

"Oh yeah!" said Preesha. She paused for a moment and said, "Actually, I'll have it straight. Today is my best friend Bubbles' birthday. So, can you give her a surprise by coming to her house at 9?

Rudraksh: Anything for you, doctor!!

Preesha: Really?

Rudraksh: I meant, I don't have work, and I can do anything for my fans, you know?

Preesha: (sarcastically) Of course, Mr. Khurrana. Ok, but you need to know the address right?

Rudraksh: No. I need your phone number...

Preesha looks at him surprisingly.

Preesha: Umm..why?

Rudraksh: I mean, I need to know the place, and the time, and...

Preesha: (interrupting) Ok, I get it! Give me your phone.

Rudra behaves like a school boy, doing according to the instructions she gave him.

Preesha: Password?

Rudraksh: Should I tell you?

Preesha: No. Tell it to your wife.

Rudraksh: Nice one, doc! Here! (gives the phone)

Preesha: Your wallpaper is nice...I mean, you look good.

Rudraksh: Thanks! But, I bet, you would have the best wallpaper.

Preesha: (smiles) Will show you that too! Ok, time for you to go! Please be on time..and, save my number. I've saved yours. 🙂

Rudraksh: Meet you super soon, doctor! Bye! 

Preesha: Bye!👋🏻

A/N: Yeah, so they'll have a gala time at the party. But, spoilers, Dev (Preesha's boyfriend) will also be there. What happens in the party is something you'll have to wait for :p
