Imperfect Love

Preesha reaches home just to find out Dev sitting there, sipping his favourite cup of filter coffeemade by her amma. "Amma", he said sipping the coffee "I must say no one can make filter coffee better than you. I hope I get this coffee everyday after marriage, will I, Preesha?" He said teasing Preesha, to which she blushed.

Vasudha, Preesha's mother, said, "Ok! ok! Enough of buttering me, huh! Preesha is anyways a chai person, she doesn't drink coffee". She laughed a little.

Dev: Well, I knew the first day I saw her that she doesn't drink coffee. Even we had a chai date, instead of coffee date, isn't it, Preesha?" Both Vasudha and Dev laughed. Preesha said, "Enough now! Amma, you are my mom or his?"

Vasudha said, "I'm his amma also. In fact, you both are equal to me. He has become my son now. And, are you both going to have competition on such silly topics?" Preesha smiles and nods her head in a no.

Meanwhile, Rudra had been strangely happy, and way too excited for the party tonight. He stepped in his room and found Bunty in front of the mirror, rehearsing his I Love You speech for almost the 10th time since morning. He laughs and teases Bunty, "Are you going to marry this mirror? Keep some emotions and feelings for Bubbles also!" Bunty flustered and was really embarrased. He said, "Thank god you are coming to the party! Otherwise, who would've been my moral support." Rudraksh smiled. Sharda entered the room with two cups of coffee and a file. She kept the file on the side table and handed both of them a cup of coffee. 

"Rudra, there's the file you asked for in the morning. And, your dad wants to talk to you about something important, he will be back by 9..please talk to him otherwise you know him na? He might get angry.." Sharda's tone gradually changed from ordering to concerning and she requested him to talk to his father to avoid any sort of drama from happening. He told that he had to go to a party at 9 and he won't be back until 11. He also assured Sharda that he will talk to Balraj later and there will be no drama. She calmed down and teasing Bunty, she asked, "What about you? You're done with your proposal or not?" Both Rudra and Sharda laughed at Bunty and he was blushing hard.

It was time for the party. Rudra made sure that he chose the best dress for the party and especially called his stylist to groom him. After they were ready, Bunty surprisingly said, "All the focus will be on you, tonight! Bubbles probably won't even accept my proposal now.." Rudra shoved him and they left. 

Meanwhile, Preesha was already looking so beautiful that everyone was looking at her. She was dressed in a beautiful dark green, sequinned, mini dress with minimal makeup and open hair that were constantly hitting on her face. She wore a beige coloured blazer and light brown leggings to cover herself during the pooja. 

After pooja, Bubbles and Preesha went to Bubbles' house. Dev had some work so he said he'll directly come at Bubbles' house. Also, neither Rudra nor Bunty knew that they were in for a surprise. 

It was finally 9! Rudra and Bunty reached there exactly on time. Bunty came in first, hugged Bubbles, gave her a bouquet, and wished her happy birthday. Preesha signalled Rudra to come as she had already called him up and confirmed he's coming. Suddenly, someone from Bubbles' back closed her eyes. She turned in shock and saw Rudra, THE ROCKSTAR RUDRAKSH KHURRANA, all intact in front of her. She couldn't believe her eyes and rubbed them in order to ensure it is not a dream. Rudra wished him a happy birthday and gave her a hug.
