"I love you," I said as I shut my eyes.

We woke up the next morning which meant it was time for us to leave. Though I was sad because this place was beautiful I was excited to go home because I could tell my mom and sister and my friends all about the engagement. Clay was so excited to tell his little sister and it was amazing.

We packed our bags and got an Uber to the airport. We took a look one last time at the Eiffel Tower before leaving.

We got to the airport and got to our gate pretty quickly. The flight would've been long but it was okay. I was with Clay. It was about noon when we left and it was a 10 hour flight. We would technically be getting home around 10 but because of the time zone change we would get home at around 5.

Clay and I watched movies and I played games on my phone. I wrote a few more chapters of my book. I was about 3/4 of the way done with my book and I was so excited to finish it because that would mean all I would have left is to review it and edit it which made me so excited. Eli and I planned to meet again soon to read each others stories and I was excited to see him again.

I fell asleep for most of the flight again but it made the flight go by so much faster.

We landed and I woke Clay up. We got home around 8 that night and decided we would throw a party to tell everyone about the engagement.

Clay left to go get Patches to bring her home to us. We got chinese food for dinner and just chilled out for the night. It was going to take a bit for our sleep schedules to get back in order but the jetlag made us tired.

We went to sleep shortly after and Patches curled up next to us on the bed.

The next morning Clay and I just hung out. We started to plan the engagement party and found a cute little barn that we could decorate.

We basically planned the entire day and I did most of it because Clay was editing a video to upload of our trip. The Christmas party and everything. Clay decided this would be the video where he would face reveal. I was so proud of him. This was the perfect way to do it too.

As the day went by it became night and we both fell asleep.

Today was the day Clay and I would go to the barn and decorate. We had these cute hanging bulb lights and I set the tables with flowers.

We got everything set up and finalized. We were ready for tomorrow.

Everyone who we hung out with on our Minnesota trip was coming down and even Nick, George, and Alex were coming as well which I was happy about.

We told everyone it was a big get together and it was mainly a coming home party.

We went back home and we were so ready for tomorrow and I was so excited.

Even though George and my mom already knew it was okay. Clay did tell me though that he just showed them the ring he never told them when or where he was going to do it.

I was so excited to surprise everyone tomorrow.
