Magnolia and Ollie were ours forever and we loved them very much.

It had now been about a year and our babies have learned how to walk and start learning how to speak.
We decided we would do the perfect thing for their first birthday.
Their birthdays were tomorrow and we had the perfect thing planned. We were going to have a party that weekend with friends and family but wanted just Clay and I to spend the day with them on their birthday.

It was finally their birthday. April 2, 2021.
The day was sunny and we spent all day in the backyard hanging out and having fun. Lia was sometimes mean to her brother but they loved each other overall.
The sun started to set and we realized it was the perfect time.
Clay went into the garage and came back with a pot of dirt and a tree.
We dug a hole in the middle of our yard and planted the tree. The kids had a magnolia tree just like their parents to grow up with.
We also surprised them with two white retriever puppies that they could also grow up with.
We had the babies in our lap with our puppies running in the yard. I rested my head on Clays shoulder as we watched the sunset set under the magnolia tree.
This was the life. I couldn't have asked for anything better. My life was complete.
We finally had our two babies and three pets and I had Clay's last name.
