With this installation in the "P O W E R" series, the Sky siblings have now been introduced into the Protector Force as the E-Team: a four-person squadron of demigods with destructive elemental abilities, capable of holding their own against Xirxine's Most Wanted. (Note: I use the term "demigod", but if you read the story, then you know both their parents are immensely powerful beings and the simple term "god" would prove more accurate. Regardless, I prefer "demigod" just because they're kids. Another Note: the terms "god" and "deity" in this saga doesn't refer to beings worshiped by "lesser" beings; it simply refers to a those possessing a higher tier of power on par with the Avatars.)
This story also sets up three key storylines: 1) the addition of teams to the Protector Force, 2) the Dark Celestials' discovery of the Keypoints, and 3) the Founders. Like many things in this series, all of these concepts will be further explored in the future, so stick around for some deeper dives into Safe Haven's lore.
(Note: there was an Easter Egg in the Epilogue that was a callback to an incident that took place in the "H O L Y W A R" books. In case you missed it, the name "Enrique Gonzales" might ring some bells. If not, then it certainly will after the next story.)
Speaking of the "H O L Y W A R", this next book will take us back in time for a bit to see how one of the residents of Safe Haven dealt with the series of events that took place in "Peacekeepers" Chapter XI and Epilogue II. Then we'll jump forward and see how this same resident handles that changes taking place in Safe Haven's present.
(One more note: This is a character one-shot like "Prodigal" and "Restoration", but its direct continuation is a part of the "P O W E R" series, which is why I didn't release it until now.)
