Aurora sat on a bench along with Hermione and Ron. The smart witch was explaining some basic stuff that the duo had trouble studying. It was those moments they were thankful, especially Ron, that Hermione was their friend and was willing to teach them.
It was also a plus, to hear her talk about something else rather than Lockhart and his big ego; something the Dumbledore was thankful for. Hearing talks and the sound of steps against the rocky floors, she lifted her head and noticed the Gryffindor team walking towards the main yard.
All dressed in their Quidditch outfit, their leader Oliver Wood was busy talking and explaining certain stuff. Since they wanted to win the game this year as well and with Harry on the team, their chances of victory were high.
Or that was what they thought.
Because as Oliver talked, he ended up crossing paths with the Captain of the Quidditch team of Slytherin, Marcus Flint. Behind him, quickly followed his team and it was obvious they were heading for the same location and only trouble would follow.
"Where do you think you're going, Flint?" Oliver asked, having already his suspicions.
"Quidditch practise," Marcus replied with a smug look.
"I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today"
"Easy, Wood. I've got a note" he said and held out a rolled-up scroll; Wood took it and opened it.
"Uh-oh. I smell trouble" Ron voiced out loud, the same thought the two girls had.
Silently and quickly, they got u and headed towards the two teams.
"I, Professor Severus Snape, do hereby give the Slytherin team permission to practice today, owing to the need to train their new Seeker." Wood read out loud from the parchment and then look at Flint. "You've got a new Seeker, who?"
On cue, the Slytherin Team moved out of the way and allowed their new Seeker to step forward. His platinum slicked-back blond hair was unmistakable, along with that smug smirk he always wore.
"Malfoy?" Harry questioned, surprised to see him.
"That's right. And that's not all that's new this year" Draco said and put his broom at his side, the team doing the same so everyone could see the model the Slytherin team had obtained.
"Those are Nimbus 2001s. How did you get those?" Ron questioned while Aurora stared with her mouth open.
"A gift from Draco's father," Flint explained.
"You see, Weasley, unlike some, my father can afford the best"
Aurora rolled her eyes and Hermione decided to comment. "At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent."
This made Draco glare at her in annoyance and take a few steps, only to stop at arm's length in front of her. "No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood"
This caused Hermione to glare at him, a mixture of hurt and anger. Ron marched forward and took out his wand, pointing at Draco. "You'll pay for that one, Malfoy! Eat slugs!" However, because of the tape around his wand, the spell backfired and hit him instead. He was blasted back, falling with his back on the ground and having his three friends quickly rushing to his aid.
"Ron, say something," Harry said, checking at his friend.
Ron lifted his upper body only to open his mouth and puke a live slug. Everyone got disgusted faces on, while the Slytherin started to laugh; making Aurora's anger rise.
Colin appeared out of nowhere and started to take pictures. "Wow! Can you turn him around, Harry?"
"No, Colin! Get out of the way"
