Emily saw Lavinia sitting in the gazebo during her walk back from the orchards. As soon as she heard the sound of her sister crying she hurried in to join her. "Vinnie ? Vinnie ! What's wrong ?" She let go of her buckets of water and laid a hand on her shoulder.

"Look at me. Doing manual household labor, day and day out for my mother when what I want, what I dream of is to do manual household labor day and day out for my gorgeous emotionally unavailable husband ! God I just can't take it anymore." Lavinia kept crying and hitting her knees with her hands which held a tissue for her tears.

"Honestly. I can't either !" Emily replied equally frustrated. "Life sucks!"

"I'm terminally single! America's in a civil war! And now it's raining!" Lavinia spoke just as water droplets started falling from the sky, creating tiny waves in the bucket water.

"Yeah! Today is the worst day ever!"

"Yeah" Lavinia replied weakly, her voice tired from crying.

"Everyday of this war, I've hoped and hoped that things would somehow get better. That the skies would clear. That somehow we would see our way to a brighter future, but none of that is happening. Our family is falling apart." As Emily spoke, Lavinia kept nodding, her eyes red and sad.

"I wanna go back to the past. Before the war started. Before all of my boyfriends Died" She said insisting on the last sentence.

"Oh no I'd rather go to the future. Skip over all this mess, to when the war is over and everything is different." Hope seemed to make its way into Emily's words. "Imagine if we could just blink... And be in the future... Just like that." Like a wish come true, purple lightening fell on the gazebo, and it slowly started spinning. "Did you see that ?"

"What was that ?"

"What is happening" Emily stood up in confusion to look at the glowing flowers on the gazebo.

"Emily ?"

"Vinnie ?"

"Yeah ?"

"Are we moving ?"

"I think so ?" Vinnie answered just as panicked as Emily. "Emily ?"

"What is happening ?"

"I don't know." The speed at which the gazebo was spinning increased more and more, making the sisters hold the railing to avoid falling. "Emily! Oh my god !" Both of them were now screaming in confusion.

The gazebo landed with a loud thud and everything got back to normal.

"What was that" asked Lavinia, looking around.

"What just happened ?"

"The gazebo was spinning." She was now out of breath from the screaming.

"Yeah and then it stopped."

"It also stopped raining."

Both girls slowly got out, looking around them curiously. "Does the house seem different to you Lavinia ?"

"I don't know... The fence is different, and a lot of other things too." She replied, trying to find more things that have changed.

"The air is also less... fresh ?" Emily wondered sniffing around her. But then she noticed a few people in weird clothe near the house. "Look! Let's ask them if they know anything." she pointed her finger in their direction.

Both girls ran to the 2 pants wearing women. Once they arrived they couldn't even get a word in. "Why are you here ? They're filming the cattle show right now. You're late!" The woman turned to her colleague "I swear extras never know where to go."
