(Ch 20) Mistakes We've Made

I just want to say I am very sorry for not updating in a while but I was suffering from art block and writer's block for so long.

[Sarnai's pov]

As I opened my eyes, everything around me was a blurry mess. I groaned in pain and covered my eyes with my hands to block out the warms rays that shone in my face while I nodded off and on again. As much as I wanted to fall back asleep, I couldn't. My head was throbbing in pain and it was no doubt a hangover from the previous night.

I rolled onto my left side to hide my face from the burning sun and got comfortable once again. When I shut my eyes a strong smell of vanilla filled my senses along with the salty smell of the ocean. I buried my face deep into the pillow as the aroma was so soothing and I was almost put back to sleep, but what stopped me was when I heard a man's voice from beside me.

I shot my eyes opened immediately and looked in front of me and saw a naked man's chest rising and falling as his soft breath echoed in the silent air. My whole body froze and panic began to rise in me as many thoughts flooded my mind on who or what was in bed with me, but not only that, but when I finally took a good look around my room I realized this wasn't my room it was much nicer than mine. I looked back at the figure next to me and took some long and deep breathes to calm myself down so I could build up enough courage to see who or what was sleeping next to me, and when I sat up slowly I automatically noticed the long and messy purple strands of hair and knew exactly who it was.

There lying next to me was Sin and images of last night came crashing into my mind like a wave. His hands ran over my skin, his lips kissing every inch of my body and how he made me come undone multiple times. I felt my cheeks flush red from embarrassment and I almost screamed.

'No, no no no, what did I do?! If word got out that I slept with him my marriage would be screwed!' Those same thoughts circled my head like a recording and as if it couldn't get any worse, sudden knocks came banging against the door and the person on the other side didn't sound pleased.

"Sin? Are you awake in there?" They continued knocking as I looked between the naked man next to me and the door. Without thinking I moved closer to Sin and began nudging him, desperately trying to wake him up afraid that the person on the other side could come in any minute and see me.

"Sin, come on. Wake up!" I hissed while trying to remain as quiet as I could. "Hm? What?" His eyes slowly opened and revealed his hazel orbs as his coarse voice broke out. It took a second for him to register what was going on and when he did his surprised eyes turned into a devilish smirk as he gazed at my body.

"Morning beautiful~" He purred, placing both his hands behind his head, and giving me a smirk as he yawned.

"Don't "Morning beautiful" me!" I snapped at him. "There is a person outside your door and they will come in any minute- Why aren't you listening to me?" I raised a brow as Sin's eyes weren't looking me in the eye but staring far south from my eyes. I followed his gaze and blushed a bright red when I noticed my breasts on full display for him.

"Don't worry I'm listening~" He smirked and proceeded to turn on his side with his hand holding his head as he gazed at me.

"You pig!" I hissed while grabbing the sheet from under me and using it to cover my chest. My face was all sorts of reds and pinks and while I was so embarrassed, he was softly laughing, even with the banging on the doors.

"Sin I'm coming in!" The voice rang out and panic hit me once more. I turned to Sin hoping he had a plan or something that could stop the person on the other side.
