A week had passed, and the racers had finally gotten a little break after the big race, but now it was time to get back on track, to practice and train harder than ever and come back stronger for their next race which was arriving in a few days.
Hoseok walks up the stairs of the building, making his way to Jungkook's office before he's stopped by a call of his name heard from behind him. He turns around to the voice.
"Hey." He sees Yoongi, his arms crossed and looking rather confident.
"What do you want?"
"I'm going to beat you in next week's race."
Hoseok has his attention now. The statement makes his chuckle.
"Okay, what makes you say that?"
"It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me."
Hoseok nods slowly, confused. "Yeah... Not so sure abo—"
"I have," Yoongi cuts quickly, but seems to fumble over his words. "A dare." He finishes, his voice quieting down.
"What is it?"
At this point Yoongi seems to be jumbling around, not knowing how to continue.
"Is it hot in here or is it just me?"
"It's... just you. So about that dare." Hoseok's confused, eyeing Yoongi's disheveled state.
"Oh yeah, so since you're so confident you're going to win, um, I w-was thinking, that- uhm-"
