I can't believe two of my employees were kidnapped from out of the delivery truck as they were putting the food inside it. They found them tied up and hidden in a dumpster a block away. The imposters who looked exactly like them and had all the right identifications to get inside the Grey estate. They found my employees when a dumpster diver went looking for things they could recycle. They called the cops and an ambulance to come and help them. They had to be treated for a week. There was no way they could have put those two in the dumpsters without help. Security from the Grey's and the Steele's were asking me all kinds of questions and I had to show them cctv footage of the day of the kidnapping. The cops demanded the footage as well. I saw that the two imposters had been able to drug them with needles and rolled them away on a dolly. If that had been Herbert they wouldn't be able to do that to him. Six foot seven inches and 270 pounds.

I am glad I was off duty, but these security guys need better training. We should be able to detect when people are in disguise. Jose it turns out has a few court dates he failed to appear for and they have bench warrants on him for drugging and raping three other young ladies. So we know what he had in mind for miss Steele. Sarah was more obvious than Jose as to not being a real server. Mr Grey noticed Jose and how he acted oddly and rather than allowing Anastasia to get her new drink he handed one directly to her. He allowed the others to take their drinks off the tray. Then he noticed her odd behavior and comments to him. He got Sawyer to put gloves on and bag the rest of her drink and seal it and he picked Anastasia up and took off to the car. He told someone to detain certain servers. The police arrested them after they realized they were disguised.

They placed new charges on both Sarah and Jose. I can't believe Sarah made her one phone call to me. I don't even pick the call up from the jail. No one there I want to talk to. Grace had to recuse herself from both Sarah and Jose's trial and bail hearing. Her bench warrant stands, but she handed that case over to another judge. Dad came to see Anastasia just prior to her being released. I drive her home and find out the paparazzi has got news that Anastasia and I were leaving the hospital after she was drugged at my parents party. Alex Sanders, Sarah's father is waiting for us outside the hospital asking for a private chat. I ask him what he wants to talk about?

Those charges against Sarah are bogus and you know it. She had nothing to do with any of it.

Not according to the people they tied up and placed in the dumpster. Are you aware of what they planned to do to miss Steele. She not only helped, she planned it with mr Rodriguez. She also knew his history with other women and the cops were looking for him to arrest him. I think you need to go talk to both of them and the other victims. I really doubt any of their victims will want to talk to you at all.

I head straight for the car waiting to take us to my apartment. I am going to shower a long time and sleep. Christian gets in the car after I do. Mom is getting Ethan and the kids settled into the newly redecorated bedrooms at home. She placed mine and Kate's things in storage. She gave Ethan and Adelaide one of the master bedrooms. Ethan will be working both from home and an office set up. Mom asked if he could use the extra offices in my building and I had someone get it set up so he could have the whole floor and Christian loaned Barney Miller his IT guy to set it up for him. We got updated security systems and extra security personnel were hired as well. He brought a few key people with him and one of them thinks she runs everything. I have had to remind her a few times I am one of the Steele family and the building she is now working in is my building not hers. Carmine Alexander might be his COO, but she isn't my boss. I quickly reminded her of that when she tried keeping me out of my own building. I think she has designs on Adelaide's position in our family and she is unaware that if something happens to mom that each of us children get equal parts in the Steele estate. Right now I am her boss as much as anyone in the Steele company. I tell her the next time she tries to prevent me from entering my building I will look over her contract and see how we can make her an unnecessary part of our staff. We can let her get paid out and not use her in the company any longer. That won't look good on a future job application. She backed the hell up at that, especially when I presented her the highlighted portion of her contract and what it says about her being employed by all the Steele family including spouses. I think the spouses is what got her most nervous. I think I will be having a conversation with mom, Kate, Ethan and Adelaide about this woman.
Ethan
Carmine approached me and told me to keep my little sister in line. What she doesn't know is that Anastasia already told me what she said and did to her and the conversations they had after Carmine called the cops to throw Anastasia out of her own building. The cops told Carmine to check her facts before calling the police for any reason. I found Carmine and had a long time coming discussion with her. For some reason she thinks she rubs Steele Industries. She doesn't and she has been trying to go behind my back and make deals. So far no one has taken her seriously. They demand my signature before they will go through with the deal. I hate having this chat, but it I already have a replacement for her. Adelaide told me Carmine was making sure that she got my phone messages from Adelaide and she wouldn't allow Adelaide into my office to wait for me. Basically she was trying to act like the owner of Steele industries. Mom is coming to discharge her, herself. She wants to hire the new COO replacement in front if her. We are paying out her contract and her airfare back to New York. She can't enter any of our buildings again.

No one is telling me anything and my assistant hasn't announced my appointments. People in the office have been very quiet around me. I notice a petite older woman go walking into Ethan's office. I go to stop her and his receptionist said stop her from going in there and you sign your walking papers.
Receptionist Alice Walker
I can't stand Carmine, but she won't be here much longer if she prevents Mrs Steele from going into Ethan's office. I warned her but she just glared at me and told me to know my position. Well after today my position will be the new COO position she will be fired from today.

I am sick of this Carmine Alexander and I am here to personally handle the situation. Adelaide told me a lot and that Ethan has called her in the carpet again and again, but she just blows it off. She called the cops on Anastasia when she tried to enter the building. She was near the monitors or she probably would have had me arrested as well. The cops were mad about her not checking her facts before trying to have Anastasia thrown out of her own building. After that people were told to stop taking appointments for Carmine and to transfer the appointments to Ethan and Anastasia temporarily and to not take her orders any longer. Anastasia found a few things her work contract included and we notified all of our offices that she is no longer an employee and not allowed on our property anywhere from the day Anastasia had enough of her. She pointed some very important facts out. Like Adelaide is her boss as well and by not giving her messages to Ethan she violated her contract by insubordination. Then preventing Adelaide from going into Ethan's office. Now this idiot has no clue who I am, I mean I think I look a lot like Anastasia only older. She blocks my entry into Ethan's office and actually calls security and has them call the cops. It is a good thing I told security to join us anyway. I keep walking and she blocks me again. Carmine you have no idea who I am, but you will soon.

I hear the noise outside the door after my receptionist tells me that mom is being prevented from coming into my office. I jump up and head to the door and open it. Carmine is standing with her back to me blocking my petite mother from coming into my office. I tell Carmine to go into my office and stand by my desk and guide mom into my office and have her sit in my chair. I tell her the documents she asked for are ready.
Jane
Thanks Ethan have a seat by me. Carmine starts to sit and I make sure we left the office door was open. Alice will get to hear this as well. We have her new job offer prepared. Carmine did I say you could sit down? Well you can until you will be leaving. You office here and in New York are being cleared out of your personal items now. I need your employee ID, your phone, your Amex card. And your laptop stays here along with your iPad. Your office keys to both places. Security pass and elevator keys to this floor and the building. Had I known how you were to Adelaide and other employees along with Ethan, you would have been gone a long time ago. You are lucky I am a good person otherwise you would not be walking away with me buying out your contract, because you can be fire for cause because you violated your contract. Your check is waiting in HR and they will be bringing everything to you soon. The fact you failed to ask who I was before blocking me from entering my son's office amazes me. But you knew who Anastasia was and called the cops in her anyway. I was aware of you being introduced to her when she helped set up the offices for Steele Industries.

No, you are lucky to get bought out if your contract. I suggest you stop thinking that you own the Steele Industries. Mom owns it lock stock and barrel. We are merely her employees, but rest assured we have the same powers as the owner, but you don't. Treating my wife badly has lead to her being on bed rest and she didn't need it before you came along.

I head up to see Anastasia and bump into a crying woman carrying a box and security assisting her out. She sees me and immediately stops and asks me if I am employing staff for upper management? Not if they fired you from here I am not going to hire you sorry. She huffs and leaves with the security men helping her out the door.
Anastasia
I see mom fired Carmine Alexander and trust me she was too big for her britches. It is a long story, but she actually called the police on me and was going to have me removed from my own building.
Alice
Mrs Steele called me into Ethan's office and offered me the COO job that just became vacant. I am to go to HR sign the contracts and then hire two assistants for me and two for Ethan.
