Ragnar was a curious soul, he had many questions, and he wanted answer to all of them. He wanted to discover knowledge, new places, lands and new people and then there was a man, who came in his life, by his one curious quest and he discovered that a man, can be answer of his many questions.
"Athelstan was his name." Even looking at his eyes was satisfying to Ragnar. They were full of knowledge, full of answers and full of passion to teach and Ragnar, whom everyone loved and feared, devoted himself for that man. He put him above all the gods and worshipped him.
It's a story of a man, who loved and was loved and gained fame, and it's also about his great loss. A man who stood above all and fall so deep, so hard. And about his journey.

A/N: This show is so gay. At least these two are pretty obvious. I am 4 seasons in and I can't find a fic which is following canon and has many chapters. So I thought why not. But I am also a lazy writer, so no expectation of updating.
