We left the room, and as soon as everyone saw us everyone started cheering, while Dolores smirked. Pepa ran to me and hugged me, I was in shock as Camilo just stood there smiling at me. I was confused but happy. Felix wished us well, and Dolores came up behind me and whispered something into my ear.
" I can hear stuff from miles away, remember? " she said then walked away
I turned around to see Camilo leaning on a base board smiling, I put out my hand
" a dance mi amor?" I asked
" sure thing mariposa" he said as we took of dancing
But this time it felt like we had chemistry and meaning, I wanted to leave everything for him and right when I was about to plant a kiss, Elias grabbed me. Camilo stood there confused and worried.
I mouth " I'm fine " to Camilo
" ok " he mouthed back at me
Right when i left the building I started screaming at Elias, not caring if everyone in town could hear.
" WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ELIAS? " I shouted at him
" he's gonna hurt you Y/n, do you not remember what happened with Adian? " he asked me
" Camilo is different-" I said before being cut off by my mother
" Y/n, your brother may be right. I think it's best that you don't see Camilo" my mother says with tears in her eyes
" b-but I love Camilo" I say as tears roll down my face
Elias starts to walk towards me as I cry
" get this monster away from me ma, please "
" I think it's best if we leave your sister alone Elias " my mother says before heading home
Once everyone leaves Camilo comes running to me, holding me close. He asks me what happened, but I can't get the words out of my mouth.
" I- I can't be with you anymore Camilo, my family just won't accept it " I say as I start balling
" hey, hey it's fine. I will always love you mi amor " he says rubbing the tears off my face
I look up to him and kiss him one last time, before heading back home
