It was a week later and every day I went into the shop Camilo had been helping around at. Everyday he would help me with errands and my shopping list, just to be with me. At one point I thought that we would just stay as friends, because I didn't want to disobey my ma's wishes.
" hey Y/n, can I ask you a question? "
Camilo asked me while sorting the fruit
" yeah cam, what is it " I said while picking up the flower
" why do your parents not want us together? " he said while looking at me
" well you see, I used to see this guy named adian. And our relationship was, well complicated. Later on my parents didn't trust him, mainly my brother, and forbid us from seeing each other. Later on he casted a curse on my family and that's why I'm not supposed to even be seeing you. " I said
" oh " Camilo said then started stacking food again
" why? " I asked him before I left the shop
" wouldn't you want to know? " he asked me
" I guess so " I said as I opened the door to leave
" bye mariposa " Camilo said
" bye Camilo " I said while leaving the building
