I listened for a moment as the smaller man rambled on about how me being a woman would mean he could overpower me.
I'd had enough and decided it was time it teach him who's in control. Without warning, I tackled him to the ground and took a hold of his neck with my teeth, just like the other wolf who's name I learned was Ryder. When I'd made Ryder submit, I had no idea he'd give up that quickly, that eagerly. But, I could tell it was his wolf's choice, the look in his eyes made that point clear.
The smaller man underneath me struggled for only a moment longer than his alpha before submitting also. I released him and moved off of him slowly, he quickly jumped to his feet before turning to me with a dirty look. "How the fuck did you do that?! It was like my wolf took pleasure in submitting to you!"
Ignoring him, I snarled at them both before turning to leave. However, I didn't make it far before I felt a hand on my back, without a second though I whipped around and bit down through the flesh. The man, Ryder, cried out but didn't dare try to pull his hand back knowing it'd tear the skin further. Not releasing his hand, I growled deep in my throat.
Shock was clear in his eyes as he spoke, "S-Sorry, I just- you're a white shifter, but....how? There isn't anymore. They were all kill-- aahhh shit! Stop!" I'd cut him off by biting down harder on his hand, hearing a crack and a crunch. I could taste his blood as it seeped into my mouth, warm and metallic. I didn't want to hear about them killing off the white shifters, especially when two of them were my parents. I quickly released his hand and turned to leave again. I was about fifteen feet away when I heard him speak again. "Please, I just want to talk. I know you're a shifter, I can smell it. But why are you out here living with ordinary wolves?"
Huffing I turned around again, Ryder was standing there cradling his broken hand to his chest, his eyes pleading. I looked over at his beta who was standing off to the side watching me, I took a step closer to the two of them. It'd been a month since I'd walked in my skin, my wolf was more comfortable and my pack perfered me in my fur. I decided it'd be better to shift and speak to them for a moment, I knew they would attempt following me back and I didn't want them near my pack.
I continued to walk toward them as my skin rippled and my bones cracked until I was in my skin. By the time I was standing my full 5'8 feet tall in my skin, I was only three feet from Ryder. "What do you wish to speak of?" I asked, my voice low and slightly husky from not speaking over a month. Both Ryder and his beta just stood watching me, dumb looks overtaking their features. This is gonna take a while, my wolf sighed at me.
