As I was leaving, I heard Ryder speak, stopping me again, "Please don't let Sam's stupidity change your mind. I really just want to know how you have that much power over me. Its- Its kind of amazing, and for some reason my wolf really likes it, and- ugh I'm so confused dammit!"

Talk to him. You know you want to, my wolf whispered to me with a girly giggle. I wanted to keep walking. I wanted to go and not look back. I wanted to continue my life the way it had been, waking up and watching the animals in the forest. I wanted to bring my pack dinner at the end of the day the way I always do.

No matter what I wanted, my wolf won, persistent bitch. You realize I heard that, right?

Good, then you'll here this too, you are a bitch who I'm gonna skin the next chance I get. And I'm gonna where you as a coat.

I smiled at the silence after that. Then, realizing I'd been standing there with my back to Ryder, I turned around to him. "I'll give you another chance. Don't ruin it."

Ryder gave me a wide grin, "Ok! I won't." I like his smile, I thought to myself, instantly regretting the thought. He was with the shifters that killed my parents. Thinking of it again I wanted to tell him that I change my mind and he needs to leave. But I'm not that strong, and however much I hate to admit it, I liked him and wanted him to stay.

Realizing I'd been staring, I looked down, SHIT! Through all of that I forgot I was naked. Shitshitshit! I crossed my arms over my chest, but not before I got Ryders attention and he was looking me up and down. I cleared my throat loudly and glared at him, "Are you done?"

He just smirked and shrugged, "Sorry, its hard not to stare."

My wolf hummed with excitement over his approval. Ew, he was just oogling me and she's happy?! "Anyway, back to your earlier question, there's- " I hesitated, not knowing if this was a good idea. Yes! Show him! My wolf piped up excitedly. "There's something I think I want to show you..."

Ryder seemed surprised at my statement. "Ok, what is it?" He asked.

"You asked how I survived being a white wolf. And I'll show you, but you have to promise you won't go running to tell your pack. If I even think you are going to try something, I will rip you limb from limb."

Ryder snarled, "Of coarse I wouldn't tell them! I still hate what they didn't to the others! It makes my blood boil," there was a scowl on his handsome face. Handsome?! Get it together Avery! "Besides, my wolf seems to like you....a lot. I don't think he'd let me tell even if I wanted to. Anyway, I promise you can trust me. What did you want to show me?"

"I'm going to show you what saved the last little white wolf....I'm going to introduce you to the pack."
