Mesmerizing .

That's the first word that comes to mind when looking at this untamed creature standing in front of me. I was really surprised when she shifted and her hair was as black as my wolf's coat, and flowed all the way down to her hips. When she was only three feet from me, I vaguely heard her talking, but I was more focused on her face.

She had bright blue eyes that looked like the sun first thing in the morning, before it's officially sunrise. Her eyes were framed by gorgeous long lashes, and when the blinked they brushed her high cheekbones. My eyes continued down to her lips, they were bright pink and full, her bottom lip slightly pouty, it made the corners of my lips turn up in a smirk. My eyes continued to skim down, but before my eyes were able to get a look at her bare chest she interrupted me.

"Ryder," she snapped me out of my daze. I jerked my eyes up to meet hers, they held amusement, no doubt do to my startled expression. "You wished to speak to me, yet when I speak, you don't listen to my words." She didn't seem mad, just genuinely confused.

"Oh- Right um...sorry I was thinking. What we're you saying," I smiled sheepishly at her.

"I was saying, you should not be here. The shifter's land is miles back in that direction," she pointed past my shoulder not looking away from me. "So, my question to you two," she looked to my left over at Sam who had been listening quietly. Honestly I'd forgotten he was there, I really need to stop letting her distract me. "Why are you in my pack's territory?"

That got my attention. "What do you mean 'your pack'? I thought you were alone."

"Well that isn't the first mistake you've made today, I'm sure it won't be the last," at that, Sam chuckled earning a low growl and glare from me.

I turned back to the woman, "You're pack is not made of shifters." It wasn't a question. "How did you get that wolf pup to listen to you so well?"

The beautiful woman seemed taken aback by my random question, "Um, I don't know, I just told him to go back to our pack." She scrunched her nose in a really cute way saying, "Its strange, when I tell them to do something, I can feel their eagerness to do it. They want to do things for me." She looked like she was shock she admitted anything to me.

"Kind of what my wolf felt when you showed your dominance over me," Sam chimed in with an angry and uncomfortable look plastered to his face.

"Ok," I said slowly. "But, why do you live with normal wolves? And why are you white?"

She took a quick step towards me, "That is none of your buisness!" She snarled in my face. "I said we could talk, but that stays out of it, otherwise I leave. Understood?"

Before I could respond Sam beat me to it, "Why the fuck are we even wasting our time on her? She's just some bitch!" Both me and the woman snapped our heads in his direction, both of us growling. "What?" He continued. Itiot is going to get himself killed! My wolf growled at me. Sam turned to me then, "We can just kill her like the Alphas did long ago to the other white wolves." Before I knew what was happening, the woman was standing in front of him, her hand wrapped around his neck, claws pressing down, drawing out drops of blood. The red markings on her face made her look even more fierce. And more beautiful, my wolf added.

"You will not come back here. If you so much as step foot into my territory again I will find you and rip your heart out. Got it?" Having to look up at him you'd think she wouldn't be as scary. You'd be wrong. She was absolutely, overwhelmingly terrifying. Sam whimpered and nodded quickly. "Say it!" She snarled.

"I- I promise! I won't come back! Please, I'm sorry." Sam whimpered again and I had to blink a couple of times. Did that seriously just happen? Sam is my strongest beta he can intimidate all of the others, including some alphas, just with a look. If this weren't so serious- and if I had my pants- I'd pull my phone out and take a picture.

She released him and he stumbled back, "Leave now." She growled at him, he shifted back and took off in a sprint. The woman spun on her heel facing me, "We are done talking. Leave and never come back." Walked past me and began to leave.
