Y/N POV-I was awake already. Just staring at the ceiling as the redhead was fast asleep. Her head was buried in the crook of my neck like it used to be. One arm was over me whereas the other hand was wrapped around mine. I turned my body so I could be as close to her as possible. I felt her breathing into my neck. I could smell her strawberry shampoo and her warm lavender-scented perfume which hovered around her.
If I had to describe Natalia in any colour it would be all shades of red. To most people she was fiery and cold- a deep red, like blood. When she was with me she was soft and fragile- a pastel red, like love. She allowed herself to be vulnerable with me and I respected her. 'How did I wind up here again?' I thought to myself, 'With the most beautiful girl, the love of my life in bed next to me.' All I did that morning was think about how good I must have been in my past life to deserve someone as pure and perfect as Natasha.
I heard her take in a long breath as her arms sprawled out all over the place where she stretched. I watched her whilst smiling. She finally opened her eyes and looked to her side to see me looking at her. She smiled as she realised that this wasn't fake. Everything really happened last night. She was my girlfriend and I was hers.
"So I'm not dreaming?" She asked as her voice cracked due to the mixture of having just woken up and it being naturally deep anyway. "Nope, we're truly together. In bed, close as we can be. ." I told her. "Mmm." She hummed, "It feels good to be with you as your girlfriend." She continued.
"Can I take you on a date today?" I asked her as I fiddled with my fingers, anxious as to what she would reply. She watched as my nerves grew before she put her hand on mine to ease my nervousness. "I would love that." She told me. I let out a breath. "Ok great." I replied. "Were you afraid I was going to say no?" She asked, looking up at me as she smiled. "Man you're gorgeous." I said out loud accidentally. She raised her eyebrow and her smile got bigger. "I- i mean no. Psshhhh I wasn't afraid." I tried to play it off and act cool.
"So first you act like you weren't scared and then you 'accidentally' slip out that i'm gorgeous?" She laughed. "I don't remember saying that- you know I think I should get dressed." I replied as I cut myself off mid sentence, attempting to change the subject. I got up off the bed and got some clothes for the both of us. She sat up on the bed. Her legs were tangled in the duvet as she had a grin on her face. "You didn't pack any clothes?" I asked. "Well I didn't think I needed to be wearing any." She told me as she pulled her iconic side smirk. "Mm well, you're partially correct. But," I said as I pulled her off the bed, "We're going on a date so...you kinda have to." "I have nothing to wear." She told me. "Let's go shopping, right now." I said. I gave her some of my clothes and we got in my car and headed to the shopping centre.
She was in a fitting room trying on lots of dresses. I already picked out my suit. "I think i've found the one." She told me. "You said that for the first 50" I replied. "I mean it, this is it." She told me. "Ok we will both reveal on 3." I said. "1...2...3!" I said as we both exited our fitting rooms. "Holy shit." We both said in unison. "How the fuck- you look beautiful" I told her. "As do you." She said. We were both unexpectedly matching. She wore a cream-coloured dress whereas I wore a cream-coloured suit.

"How did this happen?" She asked. "I guess we're soulmates." I said before I kissed her on the lips. We walked back out to pay, I insisted on paying of course.
Small time skip
Our date was almost over and now we were just walking along the beach, hand in hand.
"Natalia..." I started. "Yes baby?" She replied as she rubbed her thumb across mine. "You're my everything." I told her lightly. She stopped walking and turned around to face me. "Y/N" She said. I nodded as I looked into her emerald eyes. "You're my life." She told me. I leaned in and kissed her lips passionately. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I said to her as we pressed our foreheads together. "If we don't then this life is not worth living." She replied. "You're going to be the death of me Natasha." I whispered.
With that we kissed and danced the night away on the beach.
What I said about her being the death of me, well, she would be. Sooner than we both thought.
