Chapter 21

"Hey Monica",I said.
"Nothing,is Jacob here because I saw his car outside", she said pointing at the car.

"Yeah",I replied with a smile plastered on my face.

"In that case am coming in",she said entering the house and I followed behind her.

"Hi Jacob",said Monica,flashing her hair.

"Am good",he answered as she sat bedside him.

"Well",said Monica. It was awkward watching Monica flirting with Jacob. Although I don't know if we could ever be boyfriend and girlfriend but still he's mine or am I just confuse.

"Soooo,Monica I heard that you used to date Daniel",I stated and Monica gave me a death glared.

"My friend Daniel",said Jacob surprisingly as he slouch in the couch with phone in hand.
It took Monica a while to reply and when she did, it was not much.

"It was just a 1 week thing nothing too serious",she said with her head down almost like she is counting the white tiles.

"Good to know",said Jacob not even taking his eyes off his phone.

"But I am single now",said Monica".

"Why did you broke up with Daniel?"asked Jacob.

"I like someone else",she answered, looking at Jacob and moving closer to him while blushing very hard.

"Ok then",I said and sat between the two of them.

The look on Monica's face was priceless. It's like she was trying to be happy and angry at the same damn time. Monica was trying her very best to get Jacob's attention,unfortunately he didn't pay her any mind.

He knows that she likes him. So should tell her how he feels about her. She is still my best friend and we promise each other that no boys gonna brake us apart.

"So Jacob do you have a girlfriend?"asked Monica.
Jacob put the phone is his pocket and turned to look at Monica.

"Yes",he answered boldly winking at me. Thank God Monica didn't saw.

"Ok,what's her name?"asked Monica in a sad tone.

Jacob took a while to answer. The fact I am his girlfriend and she should never know. Honestly I could have help him out but I am sitting 3 inches apart from them both. Monica is smart and she is not easy to I hope he thinks of something good.

"Her name is Melissa",stated Jacob.

"Ok",said Monica.

I know she is upset. It's evident in her body language and speech.

"Zamoia can I speak to you in private?"asked Monica. I nodded and Jacob went outside.

"Why didn't you inform me about Jacob's girlfriend?"she asked.

"I didn't know",I answered .

"But he is your brother",she stated.

"So, it is not like I know everything about it plus I met him 2 months ago ",I replied.

"You're going to help me break them up",she stated.

"What!that's being mean",I said angrily.

"I thought you were my best friend",she sighed ,standing in front of me with her hands on her waist.

"We are", I said.

"In that case help me",she commanded ,sitting back down next to me.

How could I help her. Melissa is actually me. If I tell her about Jacob and I it would not be good.

"I will not help you",I stated.

"Ooook",she said,"I'll love to meet his girlfriend some day plus I'll find other boys".

"That's the spirit",I said,giving her a thumbs up.

"Can I come in now?"asked Jacob while peeking through the almost closed door. We laughed then answered "yes".

Dad arrived home couple minutes after Monica left. I wanted her to stay but she said that she needs time to get over Jacob and being close to him not going to work.
