New year Shopping (New year special)

"So cold." the certain maroon-haired boy shivers with cold. "What can I even expect. The new year is tomorrow. January will be much cold, I guess," he looked out of the window seeing the snow falling and covering the land. 

Pure white. He shut the curtains, letting the room be consumed with darkness. It was so cold that he can't even dare come out of his blanket.

"Aiga, can I come in?" he heard a knock on his door and replied, "Come in." The door opened, revealing the aqua-haired girl at the door. "Why are you cuddling under the blanket for so long?" she asked. "It's better getting bored than going outside in this cold," Aiga said, shivering.

"C'mon, get up!" She said as Aiga rolled his eyes. He obeyed his sister's order cause he knew that his father was the one who send her here to get rid of him. And who doesn't scared of their father?

"Done. Now, what's the point of getting out of my blanket? I've nothing to do," he said as the young female rolled her eyes. "Stop complaining," she said and walked downstairs.

Aiga stretched his hands in the air. Suddenly, he heard his phone ringing. 'Nika?' he looked at his phone. He was about to pick the call when he think before picking up the phone.

'Wait, What if she wants to hang out. Nope. I am his friend, so that doesn't mean I will hang out in this cold. But wait, What if she becomes mad? I will die for sure,'  there was a war going inside Aiga's head. At last, he forget those thoughts and picked up Nika's call.

"Hey Aiga!"

"Hi. what's up?"

"I just think about going outside with you!"

'As I thought,' Aiga slapped his forehead. He regrets picking up her call. He will die with boredom but never dare to go outside.

"Outside where?"

"For New year Shopping. You know I did shopping for Christmas this year, so I want to buy new things for New year too."

"Valt said you have many dresses to wear. Some of them are untouched,"

"Not untouched! I had worn them once!"

"Once," Aiga sighed. He doesn't know why girls want to buy new dresses for every single occasion. He continued his talk.

"It's okay. Wear them again,"

"I can't. everyone has seen them!"

"Can't you ask Valt or Toko to go with you?"

"I asked, but those two said they are going outside together. I said let's go together, but they left," Nika said, pouting.

'I understand why they left,' Aiga thought.

"Sorry, but I can't. It's cold outside. It will be better for both of us to stay at ho-"

"No excuses! I will wait for you at 10 Am. Come soon. Bye~."

Before Aiga can speak anything, Nika cut the call, leaving Aiga speechless. "What the-" Aiga stayed like that for some moment. A few moments later, he turned his gaze to the clock and check the time. It was nine already. "I have to get ready," he said, walking downstairs.

He saw Naru and his father having breakfast. He sat and said, "Mom, just gimme some bread, I'll be leaving," he said. "And where?" his father asked while reading the newspaper. "Nika asked me to come with her for shopping and said that she will wait for me at 10," he answered, taking a sip of water. "You're going on a date?" Aiga spit out his water from his mouth, hearing Naru's statement. He wiped his mouth and looked at Naru with wide eyes.
