Camilo's pov
It was fairly early in the morning and Dolores was freaking out because she could hear people crossing the mountains
"shh shh shh calm yourself Hermana everything is okay drink some tea" I know it helps mama when she's anxious I just want to calm Dolores down a bit before breakfast

"It's not that Camilo, I think it might be Anthony. He said he was going to help his brothers out I think he might be back I'm just worried what his brothers will think of us"

"We will be perfectly fine you're overthinking it's not good to have a million words running when you can only process a fraction of them at a time"

"Go help Mama get breakfast set up, I'll be out in a second"

"I know, I know" "oh and cami" "yeah ?"
"Thank you"
almost on cue, I hear a yell, wait not a yell, a screech "AHHH WHAT THE FUCK" oh god

"AHAHAHHA YES IVE BEEN WAITING 3 YEARS TO DO THAT HAHAHAHA" what the hell is going on out there

By the time I and Dolores get down the stairs we see three guys standing with Abuela "Dolores he's back"

"I'm not blind nor deaf I can see now let's go help mama" rude

°Slight time skip°

I hear Anthony say something along the lines of fine before starting
"Can I have everyone's attention ?"

He starts to introduce his brothers one of them catch my eye but he looks like he's in the middle of one of Anthony's mind arguments

Before I know it he's introducing himself, his name is Santiago.
"whoa he's pretty" I barely breathed it out before realizing no one else could hear me except Dolores I took a glance to the side and I see him there, he gave a little wink at Dolores I couldn't help but be a little jealous bit but once he walks back to his brother Dolores looks at me grins and signs 'he's all yours' I quickly sign back a thank you before turning back his brother

his name is Alejandro he seems like the introverted type but before I know he's using Anthony as his test subject something I feel happens very often from Anthony's protest. Santiago shifts and Anthony tries to run away but is stopped midway and 'lose the game' from his defeated demeanor and the brother's cheerful one

We all get up to get breakfast Dolores gets her food and sits down with Alejandro but left a small gap I didn't mind at first but when I realized what she had done it was too late  next thing I know Santiago comes and sits next to me

he looks a bit uneasy and then he suddenly gets very flustered and turns to his brother I couldn't help but whisper "cute" SHIT I see Dolores turn start to wiggle her eyebrows I also end up making eye contact with Anthony it's clear the three brothers are having a conversation but I can't tell what

As soon as he finished breakfast Santiago walks away I followed a couple soon after he looks to be bothered with something but I can't tell with what before a voice disrupted my thoughts

"Camilo wait up" I jump and then realize it's just Anthony

"As you know me and my brothers aren't originally from here, we were raised against a lot of things which is a part of the reason we left." He starts off fiddling with his hands... where's this going

"yeah you mentioned it once before something about your brothers being 'the best of the best' in his classes which were pretty impressive" I spoke in air quotes but notice how uncomfortable he got when I said best of the best

"Sorry I didn't mean to be rude"

"No no it's fine it's just my brother was shunned from a lot of things growing up and 'liking people' was always told our village was more important than 'silly little romance stories'"

"oh damn I didn't know, I just thought It was cool how you brag about them"

"don't worry about it and don't act like you weren't eyeing him down when he was introducing himself" he whispered off to me knowing that the only other person who knew also knew how 'pretty' I thought he was
'shut up Anthony' his smart ass just started laughing while I was burning up 

"C'mon I want to introduce you to him"

"yeah hell no I've seen your matchmaking before that's a hard pass"

"How was I supposed to know she was gay and he was homophobic ?! they looked like enemies turned lovers but I didn't know the reason behind enemies"

"you and your books, fine I'll go just don't do anything stupid like leave me"

"fine I won't do it again"
HE FUCKING DID IT AGAIN 

After about three minutes of awkward silence and cursing Anthony out I finally spoke up

"Uhm hey my name's Camilo by the way, it's nice to meet you" I stuck my hand out and he nodded and shook hands in agreement

"likewise sorry if my brother dragged you in here he has that bad habit of trying to make me a social butterfly"

"no-no, it's alright I wanted to get to know you" we both looked bright red mostly from embarrassment

"SANTI" I turn to what seemed like Alejandro's voice. When I turn back Santiago has a worried expression written all over

"I'm sorry my brother is calling me Ill see you around" without another word he scurries off back to the table

Santiago's pov

"ALEJANDRO? Everything alright you called me are you okay ?"

"Yeah I'm alright I just got a little overwhelmed people kept asking me about my gift"

"You know you don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to"

'hey guys everything alright I heard Alejandro call Santiago'

'Yeah we're okay no need to worry'

'Great I need you two to come to my room I have to talk to y'all'
