SEÑORITA.
chapter three.THISTLES AND PETUNIAS SPROUTED FROM EVERY SINGLE POT THAT WERE PRESENT INSIDE OF CELESTE'S ROOM, Isabela was was clearly displeased and annoyed from the setting she had just seen the moment she entered the girl's bedroom. Of course, having no clue what emotion to express, Celeste just stared at Isabella and Camilo dueling with each other as she stood beside her timid father.
If she were to be honest, she looked like a lizard watching the drama unfold, staring only at the two with wide and innocent eyes due to the fact that she had no clue how to react. Even her father was a bit tad too innocent and clueless how to react.
"Papa, why is Isa here?" Celeste asked in curiosity, closely moving beside her father and tightly clutching onto the hem of his polo shirt in fear of stepping on the thorny thistle flowers that popped out of the gaps of her wooden bedroom floor. She glanced at her speechless father, asking once more. "Papa? Is something wrong?"
As the two cousins were glaring at each other, with Isabella attempting to impale Camilo's cheeks and Camilo desperately explaining his reasons between his cousin's continuous scolding as he gets glared at, Celeste was having trouble getting her father's attention. She sweatdropped and called out her father once more only for him to respond back at her with a similar question.
"Celeste, what is Camilo doing inside of your room?" Lumier asked, staring eye to eye with his jittery daughter. He held his daughter's shoulders tightly, giving her such hypnotizing stare that he hoped would make his daughter answer him. But he then just frowned upon seeing how Celeste had no plans on answering him and maintained a straight face.
"Ay, Celeste. I thought you and Valentino were getting along, but then it's just Camilo after all." Lumier tapped his foot several times and slapped his palm on his forehead, sighing. As expected of his daughter, Celeste was someone that cannot be easily fazed nor smoothly exploited. He rolled his eyes teasingly and looked at his daughter with a disapproving face.
Celeste just clicked her tongue and sniggered at her father. "Camilo was checking me out, that's all. He also did my hair, if you can't notice that. And Valentino and I are tots getting along, Pops. Nothing to be worried about, m'kay?" She bragged with a goofy smile, giving her father a thumbs up and wiggling her eyebrows as she showcased how Camilo made her look like a masterpiece just by braiding her hair just like her Tía Pepa.
Lumier simply responded with a sigh, smiling at Celeste and even attempting to show his fatherly love for her by patting her neatly done hair only to be smacked harshly on the hand. Celeste looked at her father with a haughty facade and tolerated him. "No! You'll mess it up! Don't touch it."
For a short while, Lumier could only then realize how much influence Isabella had given his daughter just as he had influenced the golden child of the Madrigals. He simply pursued his lips upon seeing Celeste nastily giving him a death stare as she caressed her braided hair, Lumier sighed and just glanced at the Madrigal cousins once again. He chuckles, "You've been so attached to the Madrigals that you might as well be one of them, mi Amor."
