——————————————————————————— Sometimes when I'm alone My house does not feel Like a home. The voices in my mind Get stronger While I can only sit And ponder All the things I hate About myself.
All the inadequacies And lies, The false personality I despise.
When you're around I feel a light in my heart That's so very profound That it doesn't feel Like mine.
When you're by my side I don't have to hide. I don't hate who I am When I see myself Through your eyes.
