"This is getting tedious!" I swung the pole again, sending back another pathetic low-level villain. "That makes what? 21 now?" A women with climbing picks threw one at me, I simply tilted my head to dodge it before smashing her kneecaps in with the pole. "22."

"I hope Uncle Shota is alright." Renegade barked at me, "You're right, Ren. He's got this."

"Don't let your guard down!" A male villain charged at me and I lazily swung the pole down on his arms. Still breaking them. (23.)

"Don't get too cocky now!" I jabbed the pole into a female villain's stomach. (24.) Then thrust it backward to hit a man approaching from behind in the chest. (25.)

"Any more, or are we done here?"

I sat for a moment, pulling my knees to my chest, and began to cry. Renegade whined. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this, Ren. But I promise that I'll be okay. Alright?" He licked the tears away.

A lion-like man growled as he circled Renegade and me. "Are you scared of a little girl and her dog? We won't bite, so come and get me, kitty." I taunted him into coming closer. He got a pole to the back of his head. (26.)

Three guys attacked at once, I spun the pole and smacked the biggest against the chest. (27.) I put the pole behind my back and looked right, thrusting the pole at the smallest man and hitting him in the stomach. (28.) I looked left and did the same thing to the third man. (29.) I jabbed my pole into the ground, stabbing a hand. (30.)

"I'm so bored! These villains are just sad. They're all low-level and stupid." I came across one of a few buildings. "Maybe there'll be something fun in here."

The room was a bit dim, but my eyes slowly adjusted. It was probably very beautiful before its current state. A long counter stood close to the back of the room and broken barstools were strewn about. A dingy piano rested in one back corner while an equally dingy couch sat in the complete opposite corner. "Do you think it's in tune?" I walked over to the piano and pressed a couple keys. "It is. What say you, I play a song?"

I sat down on the rickety piano stool and took a deep breath. "Ready?" Renegade barked quietly and sat on the couch cushion I placed for him.
