"I'm soooo tiirrreeeeddddd!" I sat on top of the wall, next to Kirishima, leaning against him dramatically.

"Kita, stop. You're going to make me fall." He smiled back at me.

"How? I weigh next to nothing."

"I don't have very good balance."

I stopped leaning on him and just sat looking up at the sky. "What do you think it'd be like, if their were no quirks? Like all those years ago?"

"Probably a lot more difficult. I mean I wouldn't be able to protect myself from safety hazards, like Bakugo."

"Oh, be nice. But we wouldn't know what life was like with quirks, because there are no quirks."

"That's a confusing question then. Wait, why do you look so sad now, Kita?"

"I went to visit my mother's grave today. When the obstacle course was going on, I snuck out. But what I saw when I got there was downright disrespectful. The grass was all overgrown and trash covered every gravesite. It was quite obvious that people had forgotten all about it. I was so mad, that I wanted to cry."

"That must've sucked."

"It did, when I first saw it, but now I'm going to be taking care of it. I won't let any of the graves or people be forgotten ever again."

"I realize that I didn't know your mother. But would you like some help restoring the place? I can even drag Bakugo along."

"That'd be nice, Kirishima. I'd appreciate that, and I'm sure my mother would too."

"Kita, back at the USJ. I heard you singing and playing the piano. It was such a sad song."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Please, Kita. Let me know."

"Fine, but only because it's you. I used to play piano with my mother. It always managed to relax me. Especially when she would sing along." My gaze stayed on the sky. "But when she died, I stopped playing and singing."

"Why did you stop?"

"It got too sad to play the notes and not hear them played back to me."

"What made you play at the USJ?"

"I don't know. I just found a piano and played. It might've been because of how I was feeling too, though."

"You sounded great, you should play more."

"Slow your roll. I don't think I'll be playing or singing anytime soon."

"Just think about it. You could be famous."

"Don't be ridiculous. Let's go walk around some more, I'm bored."

"I thought you were tired?" Kirishima gave me a huge goofy grin and I jumped off the wall, rolling my eyes.
