Chapter Eight

                                                                                        Chapter 8 

Haileigh, Morgan, Ryker, and Des started to follow the trail through the woods towards the lake. As they were walking no one seemed to notice that Sven was following them. Sven made sure that he stayed out of their sight and his clothes blended into the trees around him. After about ten minutes of walking the couples finally reached the lake. 

"Wow! It's so beautiful." Morgan said while looking at the large lake. 

"Not as beautiful as you." Ryker told Morgan as he wrapped his arms around her. 

"Alright you two. Let's go swimming already!" Des shouted as he ran down the dock to jump into the lake. 

The rest of the group joined Des in the lake as Sven watched them from his secret tree perch. He started to think about what he was going to do with Morgan's news about her baby. Sven startled as he heard his father's voice talking to him. 

"When are you going to start killing them, son?" His father asked him. 

"I-I-I don't know dad. I thought it'd be okay to them have a few nights of fun, and I'll need the money to buy any supplies I'll need later." Sven told him quietly. 

"Don't take forever and what about the pregnant one? Have you decided about that?" Asked his father. 

"Umm...not yet dad." Sven said while staring at Morgan as she splashed Haileigh. 

Sven's dad grabbed Sven by the shoulders "Why the fuck not?!" His dad screamed silencing the forest. 

Morgan and Haileigh stopped splashing each other, and looked around. "Did you hear that?" Morgan whispered to Haileigh. "Y-yeah." She responded as she got out of the water and grabbed her towel. Morgan quickly followed behind. 

Sven glared at his dad "You're scaring them." Sven spat harshly. "It's your fault." His dad shot back. 

As they were bickering in the woods, Morgan and Haileigh went inside. Des and Ryker rushed over to them. "Everything alright?" They said in unison. "Everything's fine." Morgan said. "Just-" Haileigh cut her off. "We heard something in those woods." 

Suddenly they heard the front door slam. They all looked in that direction. It was Sven. He looked as if he were talking to himself. 

Ryker whispered in Morgan's ear. "Hey. Can I ask you something later?" Morgan sweetly smiled. "Sure." 

Des clapped his hands. "Who wants to have a have a bonfire tonight?" They all said yeah and went off to their rooms. 

Des kissed Haileigh on the cheek. "I'm going to take a shower." Haileigh told him. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door. She turned on the water and it spewed out blood. She blinked twice and realized she was visualizing it. She took a deep breath and stepped into the bathtub. 

As she was washing her hair, she felt a tug at her foot. She looked and saw a woman with scratched out eyes coming towards her. She screamed and fell. She crawled back towards the drain. The woman whispered, "They're coming for you."
