Chapter 5

As everyone was heading downstairs for dinner, they couldn't believe how good it smelled. They weren't sure about what kind of food was going to be served. Sven couldn't decide on what to make for dinner, so he chose to make some Norwegian and American comfort foods. He hoped that the campers would be open-minded about trying another country's food, but he also thought that they might not like it. So he made some food they would like to eat.

"Wow! It smells awesome in here!" Ryker said while sitting down at the large table.

"Ha-ha Ryker. I'm sure you'll eat everything!"Des said jokingly.

"Guys stop it! Let's have a nice dinner for once!" Haileigh and Morgan said.

"Okay sorry!" Ryker and Des say while looking at all of the food on the table.

"There's so much food. I wonder how many other people are staying here with us." Haileigh asked.

"Who cares, Haileigh! I'm starving." Ryker said.

Sven walked into the dining room and sat at the large table with everyone. Haileigh, Des, Morgan, and Ryker all looked at each other.

"Sven, is anyone else coming to eat dinner?" Morgan asked.

"No. You're the first group of people to stay here since I remodeled the house." Sven said smiling.

"Well the house is very beautiful." Haileigh said.

"Thank you." Sven said smiling while putting food on his plate.

"Wow! You made a lot of food and it looks good. We just figured there were more people here." Des said

"Please eat all that you want. I made plenty for everyone, including some local foods. I wasn't sure what you would like to try." Said Sven.

"Okay. We'll try everything."Des said smiling.

"Shut up Des! I'm hungry!" Ryker said whining and trying to fill his plate as full as he could.

"Damn Ryker, you don't have to be so rude. You're always fucking hungry." Haileigh said.

Des and Morgan start laughing at them fighting over Ryker being hungry. They start eating deciding to try everything that was prepared.

"I'm so full!" Des said after finishing his third plate of food.

Ryker was still eating while everyone else was finished and thinking about how to spend the rest of the night.

"Hurry up Ryker. I want to do something besides eat everything." Morgan protested.

"Okay, okay!" Ryker said while taking one last bite of food from his plate.

"About time Ryker! I think you are everything but the plates." Haileigh said while looking around for Des.

"Ha-ha funny Haileigh!" Ryker said while rolling his eyes.

"What should we do for the night?" Morgan asked her friends.

"I want to go to bed, I think I ate too much." Ryker said while stretching.

"That's not a bad idea, I'm tired too." Des said.

"Fine!" Morgan said as she stomped towards the staircase.

Ryker, Des, and Haileigh looked at each other shocked and wondering what upset Morgan so much. They never have seen her this mad before. Ryker started up the stairs after Morgan. He only made a quarter of them before she started yelling at him.

"Leave me alone Ryker! Just go the fuck away." Morgan shouted at him from the hallway.

Ryker headed back downstairs to where Des and Haileigh were sitting.

"Wow! She's really pissed. I don't know what I did either." Ryker said sadly.

Haileigh goes upstairs after Morgan to see what was wrong. Ryker was sitting with Des trying to figure out why his girlfriend was so pissed off. Morgan threw herself down into the humongous bed wailing into her pillow, when Haileigh found her. She sits on the bed next to Morgan and tries to get her to talk in between her sobs.

"Jeez Morgan! What the hell is wrong with you? I think Ryker is really scared and upset. What did he do?" Haileigh asks Morgan while getting her some tissues.

"I-I-I'm pregnant Haileigh! I just found out and I haven't told Ryker yet." She said sobbing.

"Woooooow! Really Morgan that's great! I'm sure Ryker will be excited." Haileigh said happily.

"Are you sure Haileigh? I'm really scared and nervous to tell him." Morgan tells her.

"C'mon, let's go talk to the boys. I'll help you tell Ryker." Haileigh said while hugging Morgan.

"Okay." Morgan replied.

The girls got off the bed and cleaned up all the tissues before heading back downstairs.
