Chapter Four

                                                                        Chapter 4 

From the distance the friends were able to see a large dark blue two story wooden cabin. It was surrounded by a tall white wooden fence. They couldn't believe that the cabin looked like the sign they saw on the tree. Everyone stood gazing at the cabin taking in the beautiful sight before them. Little did they know what would happen to them while staying there?  

Sven started pacing around the check in area. Where were the campers, they should have been to the cabin by now.  

"Dad, what's taking them so long?" Sven whined. 

"Patience boy! They'll be here soon enough." His father told him. 

"They need to hurry dad. It's getting dark out." Sven said. 

The friends hoped the inside would look just as beautiful as the outside. 

"C'mon slow pokes! Let's hurry and get there. I can't wait to see the inside." Morgan said while starting to walk faster and pulling Ryker with her. 

"Morgan, slow down! It's not a race." Ryker said laughing. 

"We should probably hurry up. It's getting dark already." Des said looking at the sunset. 

Everyone walked faster since they weren't sure what would be lurking around the woods in the dark. Just as they got to the front door, thunder rumbled loudly making Haileigh jump. 

"Ha-ha! OMG that was hilarious." Ryker said while holding his sides from laughing. 

"Shut the fuck up Ryker! It wasn't funny." Shouted Haileigh. 

"Don't make me bruise your other arm." Des said while moving closer to Ryker. 

"Umm...Fuck no. not again! I'm sorry for laughing Haileigh." Ryker said while moving closer to Morgan. 

"Let's go inside, I'm getting cold." Morgan said. 

Des walks closer to the door getting ready to knock, when suddenly Sven opens it. The girls screamed in shock, while Ryker and Des look at each other than at Sven. 

"Hell-oh! Sorry I didn't mean to scare everyone. I thought I heard someone on the porch. Come in before it starts raining." Sven said giving them his best smile. 

The four of them walk inside and were stuck by how beautifully the cabin looked. Haileigh was amazed by the colors in the room, while Morgan was drawn to the artwork on the walls. Des and Ryker looked around the large room and they both went to the board filled with brochures and full of activities. 

"Welcome! Do you want four separate rooms? Asked Sven while opening his sign-in book. 

"Umm...No I think two rooms will be enough. How much are they a night?" Des asked. 

"The rooms are seventy American dollars per night. Would you like adjoining rooms that share a bathroom?" spoke Sven. 

"Sure! That would be fine." Morgan said while trying to pull Ryker away from the activity board. 

"Okay. Your rooms are numbers eleven and thirteen. They are located upstairs on the left side." Sven said while getting their keys. 

Des, Haileigh, Morgan, and Ryker all signed Sven's check-in book. They couldn't believe that such a beautiful place would be so inexpensive. 

"Would you like some help upstairs with your luggage?" Sven asked while looking at Haileigh. 

Des noticed that Sven was checking out his girlfriend right in front of him. 

"No thanks. We can manage it." Des said while walking over to his girlfriend. 

"Okay. If you need anything just press one for the desk. My name is Sven." He said while putting up the papers Morgan filled out for the rooms. 

Ryker and Des grabbed the luggage and their room keys and headed up the spiral staircase. Haileigh and Morgan followed the guys up the stairs. Morgan walked up slowly since she was studying the pictures along the walls. 

"C'mon Morgan. I'm tired, cold, and hungry." Ryker said pouting. 

"God! You're always hungry Ryker." Morgan told him. 

"Good one Morgan." Des said laughing.  

"Let's get to the rooms; I'd like to take a nice hot shower." Haileigh said. 

"Ryker, what room do you and Morgan want?" asked Des. 

"I guess whatever one the key opens up." Ryker said chuckling. 

"Ha-ha funny. You're such a smartass Ryker." Des snapped back. 

"Stop it you guys. Let's get to our rooms and get comfy." Haileigh and Morgan both said while rolling their eyes at the guys. 

When they finally got into their rooms, they couldn't believe how big it was. The rooms were painted in yellow and blue. Morgan walked into the enormous bathroom, which was painted in orange and pink. 

"Haileigh get in here." Morgan yelled through the locked connecting door. 

"Wow! Look at the size of this bathroom. I think I could fit half of my apartment in here." She said. 

"Yeah. There's a shower and a giant tub that looks like two people could fit into it." Morgan said while climbing in the tub. 

Des and Ryker walk in and start laughing at Morgan in the huge tub. Suddenly Haileigh hears a loud knock at the door. She slowly walks out of the bathroom to answer the door. 

"Dinner is at six-thirty downstairs in the dining room." Sven said. 

"Okay. We'll be there." Haileigh said. 

Ryker poked his head through and asked who was at the door. 

"It was Sven. He said dinner will be ready soon." She told him while checking the time on the clock in the room. 

"Alright!" Ryker said while doing a crazy dance. 

Everyone started laughing at Ryker's dance and got ready to head to dinner. Des was having a hard time trying to stop laughing as they walked downstairs.
