Hey this is my worst chapter but I finally uploaded! I feel better hence my birthday is this Sunday and my friends are sleeping over! Anyways bare with me I suck at writing kiss scenes and this was the best I could do!

 

 

KARI’S POV

Ale leaned in slowly his lips grazing mine softly. He cupped my cheek running his thumb along my lower lip before pressing his lips against mine. It was like fireworks erupted as soon as our lips met. I smiled happily into the kiss his lips molding against mine. It was simple yet passionate. Everything seemed to numb down the world melting away, all the problems no longer in my head. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer.

“FINALLY!” I heard Lola’s unmistakable voice shout. I quickly jumped away too see a crowd step away from the door trying to make it look like they weren’t there. Really? How could we have not noticed six people staring at us like we were about to disappear at any moment? Hell when did they even got here!? Didn’t they understand privacy? I swear with them around there was never any.

“Thanks for ruining it” Ale mumbled looking glum.

“Congratulations! You finally got the guts to kiss her” Liam said smiling. I chuckled at his outburst. He had guts?  The rest of our messed up gang soon followed crowding around us. What was this? Was it suddenly make us feel awkward time?

“Was it good!? Did you like it!?” Heather shouted trying to calm her excitement.

After that everyone started asking question, and talking at the same time. I couldn’t make out one word they were all saying. All I managed to make out was “Nice” “Was” “Good.” Seriously Sanskrit would have being easier to figure out!

“Can I speak to Kari please?” Everyone turned around too see Violet standing there.

“Um no” Lola said simply crossing her arms.

“Its fine guys” I said looking at them reassuringly. They were hesitant to leave but did. Though I knew they were going to stand outside the door to hear everything.

“Ale go” I said nodding towards the door.

He sighed and got up, giving me a quick peck on the lips before leaving. I couldn’t help but smile. I really did like him. I looked back over at Violet who was just standing there looking at the full moon.

“Well?” I asked

“I’m sorry I shouldn’t have left but it’s just that I couldn’t deal with being poor anymore. I didn’t want to leave any of you I just wanted to leave your dad, but would you please let me be a part of your life”

I couldn’t help but laugh at her materialistic-ness. You know I was mad at my dad for lying, and her leaving us, but now I’m glad. She was a selfish, materialistic person and I have only known her for a couple of minutes and I know that it was a good thing that she left.

“I’m glad that you left, and no you’re not going to be a part of my life. The only good thing that came out of this was that Jesse is my brother and I know that he’s a good guy”

“Karina you can’t mean that!” She exclaimed looking at me shocked. Most likely surprised that she didn’t get her way.

“I do mean it” I said simply crossing my arms.

Her nostrils flared, as she looked at me like she wanted to kill me. I’m pretty sure she did. I’m guessing she wasn’t used to not getting her way, time someone knocked her ego down a notch.

“You’ll regret this” she said through gritted teeth before storming out. Jeez a bit more and she would of thrown a temper tantrum. We looked so much a like yet were so different. I guess I got my dads good genes.

They all came back to the balcony as soon as Violet stormed out. Ale walked over to me wrapping his arm around my waist. I laid my head in his chest enjoying the feeling.

“Sooooo you’re my sister!” Jesse shouted pulling me from Ale and hugging me tightly. It felt like the air was being rushed out of my lungs.

“J-Jesse c-cant breath” I managed to gasp. He let me go smiling down at me sheepishly.

JESSE’S POV

I couldn’t believe Kari was my sister! Well half sister anyway.

“Hey Kari can you do something for me?” I whispered looking over at Lola. She looked beautiful in the blue satin dress. It hugged her body outlining her full figure and stopped just above her knees leading of into a train.

“Sure” She said as I grabbed her hand and let her back to the ball room. Ale looked at us confused, but didn’t say a thing as Lola rambled on about unicorns and rainbows.

I whispered to Kari what I wanted to do as she smiled happily. She went up to the stage bringing everyone’s attention to her as she asked for them to be silent.

“Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all having a nice time” she started looking at them with a sweet smile. Violet stood in the crowd her arms crossed her eyes fixed on Kari, “My brother Jesse would like to ask my friend Lola something”

Murmurs were heard as soon as Kari said I was her brother. I couldn’t help but smile. It meant that she accepted me even though my mom can be a bitch. Lola walked up to the front of the stage looking confused.

I looked around nervously and grabbed the mike, “Lola I was wondering if you would go on a date with me?” I asked.

“Yes!” She shouted running up to hug as I stepped of the stage. The crowd awed and for a second I had forgotten they were there. It seemed that this night didn’t turn out that bad after all.
