-Techno's pov- 

"Yeah, it's just hard getting used to new surroundings," Y/n said. 

I nodded and spoke, "Well you should try and get some rest, we're training in the nether tomorrow and I don't want you fainting or something." 

She smiled and walked back towards the stairs, say a small "thank you" to Phil, and went to her room.

I walked back towards my room, muttering a "goodnight" and laying in my bed.

I felt my eyes droop and I fell asleep. 

-Y/n's pov- 

I awoke to Techno lightly shaking me awake, "Hey, Y/n," he whispered, "get ready, we're leaving soon." 

He left the room and I grabbed my suitcase, opening it to see all my clothes. I threw on a tank top and shorts. Normally this isn't something I would wear daily but we were going to the nether and I don't want to have a heat stroke. 

I walked upstairs, waving to Phil and walking towards Techno. "You ready?" He asked. I nodded and started towards the door.

"Y/n, over here." He said once we were outside, "You know how to ride a horse right?" 

"Yes, I know how to ride a horse," I said blankly. He smiled slightly, "Then hop on this one." He said, pointing towards the silky-black horse. "I spent a couple of hours looking for him the other day. He's all yours." He said. 

A smile brightened on my face. "Oh, thank you Techno!" I yelled, engulfing him in a hug, he stood there awkwardly, not knowing how to properly accept a hug. 

"Does he have a name?" I asked enthusiastically. "Nope. You can name him." He said. 

"Oh! I know what I'll call him!" I said, "Dusk!" 

Techno flashed a light smile at me, gesturing for me to get on. 

I climbed onto the horse and we set off towards the nether portal.  "Do you have any armor?"  Techno spoke, my face flushed, that's what I forgot. "No... sorry Techno." I said sheepishly. 

"It's fine, you can wear this so the piglins don't attack you though." he said, handing me golden boots, enchanted with "Soul Speed III" 

"Thank you," I said. He slightly kicked Carl's side to get him to go fast. I did the same. 

When we got to the nether portal I saw a few familiar faces, the faces being my friends BadBoyHalo and Skeppy. 

I waved at them and Bad smiled brightly as Skeppy waved back. 

Bad and I had always gotten along pretty well, he wasn't against me so I wasn't against him. When I first met Skeppy, the first thing we did together was put chickens inside Tommy's floor so he'd always hear clucking when he was in his house. 

Techno and I stepped off of the horses and walked into the portal, bringing the horses on a lead. "Here. Take this and kill any enderman you see." Techno said, handing me a diamond sword, enchanted with "Fire aspect III" 

I hopped on Dusk and we rode towards a fortress. We arrived at a fortress next to a Warped Forest Biome. 

"Hey, Techno. Since there's a lot of enderman in the forset can I go to the forest while you're in the fortress?" I asked. He nodded in approval. 

The truth was, I'm kind of afraid of nether fortresses. To me, they're one of the most terrifying things in the nether and there are flying monsters that shoot fireballs at you here. Ever since the incident  I've just been terrified of them.
