For the next couple weeks, Eunjung and Doyoung met often, most of which were study sessions for their class. She found his voice oddly soothing, and he really helped her improve her grades in the class. After their study sessions, they just ended up talking about small details in their life, and found out more about the other as they talked until late at night.

Doyoung also officially introduced her to Taeyong and his other friends, Jaehyun, Johnny, Haechan, Jeno, and Renjun. Apparently there were a lot more friends that he had besides them, but he was closest to those 6, who were all music majors and in the same classes as Doyoung. Eunjung was grateful to Doyoung for making her feel comfortable and make more friends, and Taeyong and the others were very friendly and made her feel included in the conversations, most of which were them teasing each other.

Today, she had a study session with Doyoung and dinner afterwards with the boys. Eunjung was excited, and decided to dress up. She put on a beige sweater, which she tucked into a dark brown plaid skirt and topped with a long coat. When she arrived at the library conference room, she noticed that Doyoung was already sitting there.

He was wearing an all-black outfit, a black shirt tucked into black leather pants, with a necklace chain as an accessory. He looked up when she arrived and gave her a soft smile that made her heart flutter.

"Oh, Eunjung, you're here! I like your outfit, by the way."

Eunjung blushed and replied, "You look really good too..."

Doyoung grinned and patted the seat next to him, waiting for her to set up her laptop and papers before saying, "Ok, we are going to make sure that you and I both ace this calc exam tomorrow. Let's get started with these practice problems, and I'll help you once you are done."

Time passed by with Eunjung struggling with remembering the right way to solve the problem, and Doyoung giving her small hints so that she could finish the problem successfully. Eunjung found herself staring at Doyoung, gazing at his smooth side profile and sharp jawline while relaxing her ears to his soft melodic voice as he explained each problem to her.

I think it's time to face your feelings, Eunjung-ah, you have a crush on this boy. But I doubt those feelings will be reciprocated. The sound of her name being called snapped Eunjung out of her daze and into the present.

"Eunjung, were you listening to my explanation?"

"Oh, sorry, my thoughts kind of drifted away after doing too much math", Eunjung half-lied.

Doyoung chuckled. "Ah.. you're hopeless.. Ok then, let's end the session here and talk for a bit. What's going on in your life lately?", he questioned, propping his face up with his arm on the table.

Eunjung leaned back in her chair, thinking. "Well... I got a text from my mom earlier today..." Doyoung straightened up and looked at her in surprise.

"Really?? What did she say?"

"... She asked me if I'm doing ok and said that she misses me... but I don't know if I believe her or want to see her now. I know she can't ever win an argument against my father, which is why she couldn't do anything on the day he basically disowned me, but the fact that she didn't text until now hurt my feelings."

Eunjung played with her hair nervously, trying to sort out her feelings. She looked to see Doyoung's reaction and was met with an encouraging nod.

"Yeah... only contacting you now was bad on her end because you were left alone for so long. I would suggest meeting up with her when you feel ready though, just to hear what she has to say."

He placed his hands on top of Eunjung's, his warmth comforting her. "Remember that you have me and Seoyeon, you are never alone, we will always be here to support you."

Eunjung felt a teardrop fall down her cheek, she was just filled with so much gratitude for the boy in front of her. "T-thank you, Doyoung, for being there for me although it hasn't been long since we first met... I would be in such a bad mental state if it wasn't for you and Seoyeon..."

Doyoung's eyes softened and cupped the side of her face, wiping away her tears with his thumb. "If you want, I can come with you and wait outside while you and your mom talk if that would help..." Eunjung blinked away her tears and nodded. "I'd really like that, thank you so much."

Not wanting to make the mood in the room more gloomy, Doyoung stood up and pulled Eunjung onto her feet. "Come on, let's go to dinner, the boys must be waiting." Eunjung smiled and packed up her things. Doyoung-ah, you're seriously the best..."'

Dinner was fun and chaotic like always with the boys. Of course, they teased Doyoung and Eunjung when they walked in together but eventually left them alone and resumed with their natural chaos after a death glare from Doyoung. Currently, Haechan and Renjun were bickering over who made the last point in the basketball game they played before dinner, with Jeno trying to get them to reach an agreement before they end up in a fist fight. Jaehyun was on Haechan's side, while Johnny was on Renjun's; they did nothing to stop the debate, instead they tried to argue for their team.

Taeyong rolled his eyes and looked over at Eunjung and Doyoung. "So what's up with you two lovebirds?" Doyoung shot him a glance before replying, "Nothing much.. Just studying for the calc exam...

Taeyong groaned. "Boring... we should do something fun after dinner to break you out of this boring life. Eunjung, any suggestions?"

Eunjung pondered for a moment. "Well.. you guys have told me countless times how good Doyoung's voice is when he sings... I want to hear it for myself. How about we go to karaoke?"

Doyoung blushed while Taeyong's eyes lit up. "Ooh, great idea. It'll also distract these kids from their unnecessary debate. Alright, let's do that!" Taeyong grinned internally, he had a plan to make his two shy friends get closer to each other.

After dinner, they all headed to the karaoke place and Taeyong paid for two rooms. Doyoung looked at him in confusion and asked, "Why two rooms, hyung?"

"There's too many of us for one room. Me, you and Eunjung will go to one room while the rest will be in the others."

Jaehyun and Johnny winked at Taeyong and dragged the kids over to the room on the left and shut the door while Taeyong followed Doyoung and Eunjung to the one on the right but paused before he stepped through the door.

"Sorry, Doyoungie don't hate me too much I'm just trying to help ya'll out!, he yelled before closing the door, running to the other room and closing the door.

"Wait-"

Doyoung realized what was happening and let out a long sigh of frustration. Aish... what do I do with this hyung? He turned around to find Eunjung blushing and staring shyly at him and he returned her gaze, realizing the next few hours would be just them together.
