With Bokuto and Akaashi
"Hey, Agaashi?" Bokutou spoke as the two newfound soulmates continued to walk home, hand in hand. The rain had now stopped completely leaving the only thing in its wake, to say it was there, were the puddles on the ground, the damp feeling in the air, and the dark clouds still in the sky blocking out the sun.
"Hmm...yes Bokuto-san?"The younger but more mature of the two inquired, looking over at his two-toned lover.
"Wanna come over to my place? I have to get out again soon to walk the dogs anyway so you can walk Teacup and I'll walk and we can take you home," Bokuto suggested, still looking forward though the light blush that peppered his cheeks did not escape Aakashi's view, however slight.
"I suppose Capri and Teacup do need to go for a walk..." The setter said thinking.
His parents had always thought a puppy would be too much responsibility so he never got one.Instead, he volunteered at shelters and took care of other animals out alone. Bokuto knew this and had let him name his new puppy. Being a fan of history Aakashi had chosen the name Teacup for a bit of humor as the pup was a Boston terrier.
"I'd love to help Bokuto-san." Aakashi stated, smiling.
"Great!" Bokuto cheered, with a small clap of his hands, showing a small peek of the diamond on his wrist which showed he was a protector.
His protector.
They walked hand in hand till they reached Bokuto's house when he pulled the keys off of his lanyard, which had been stuffed into his jacket pocket.Unlocking the door, the two were greeted with a furry bundle that rolled into Aakashi's leg. He bent down and swooped up the young pup into his arms.
"Why hello to you too, Teacup," Aakashi said, tapping the Boston terrier's nose lightly.Bokuto looked over to the gray couch to see Capri looking at him with her big brown eyes.
"Alright, girl come on! We're going for a walk!" Bokuto called to her, patting his legs, as she jumped off the couch at the word 'walk'.
The smooth-haired fox terrier jumped up, eager to go on a walk as the younger puppy squirmed in Aakashi's arms while he clipped the leash on his collar.
Once both dogs had been clipped to their leashes the pair set out with the two dogs. One was calmly walking next to her owner while the other continued to tug and run circles around the two.
They walked down several neighborhoods to nowhere in particular just admiring each other's presence and the houses and nature that they passed. As they continued their walk they spotted a tall figure with black bedhead-looking hair walking up to one of the many houses lining the street.
This one had a luscious garden spilling from the back and was surrounded by a stone and wrought iron fence, it was made of stone bricks.
(As usual any pictures used do not belong to me credit to all rightful owners!)
"Is that...Kuro-Bro?" Bokuto questioned stopping, causing Capri to do the same. She looked up at him tilting her head as if questioning why they had stopped.
"Yeah, I think it is, Bokuto-san..." Aakashi agreed, stopping next to the two.
"Yo! Koro-bro!" Bokuto shouted running towards the tall person while waving as Capri jogged alongside him.
The black-headed figure turned revealing that it was indeed the 3rd year Nekoma captain. When Bokuto reached the other captain, they hugged and bonded with one another DESPITE having just shared lunch. While this was taking place Aakashi and Teacup approached a bit slower than Bokuto and Capri had.
"Hey Kuroo-san," Aakashi greeted him with a small smile. "What are you doing here?" He asked as Kuroo seemed to snap back into reality and look back up at the house.
"Just checking on someone...you wanna come with me?" He turned back to them when asking the question.
"Sure!" Bokuto answered enthusiastically.
"Why not?" Aakashi shrugged.
And with the two newcomers, Kuroo continued through the wrought iron gate and up the walkway leading to the porch stairs. All the while, the other two admired the land work and wondered who the friend was and if they would get them into contact with their gardener.
Kuroo hopped up the stairs and rang the doorbell while the others stayed down as to not seem rude like they were pressing upon them. The bell sounded grand and rang loud through the house but was slightly muted outside. A little while later the door swung open slowly to show the two who they were visiting.
So I know I know! I said I would change it but I decided it was best to just push through and I have a few chapter drafts already written out I just to spruce them up a bit and I didn't want to leave yall hanging around with a dead beat story. So I guess just buckle up hope it gets better in the future...? Anyways happy late new Year! Wow, already 2022! guess with the new year my writing spirit is back so look out for more updates on the future with a hopefully better plot than the early chapters had.
