Yeji's

I am now seated in front of Jaebom and Dad, we're here in Dad's office

"So we are here for two things, one coming from me and one coming from Jaebom"

Wait he ain't gonna leave my house

" You're not gonna leave the house Jaebom?"

" No, not me"

" What do you mean not you? "  Dad waved his hand in front of my face

"Chill out, first of all  I'm stepping down from the company, You will take over either you want it or not, I know you're ready" he tapped my shoulder and wink at me

"So .... You're handing your 25 year old company to me? You sure? " He nodded while smiling

He actually trusts me with these kind of things? I am his only child I understand a little but I just graduated

"Now me... Yeji you know my girlfriend and daughter I told you right?"

"Yeah"

"Well, when I go back to Gangnam last month I went to their family house... Only her cousins were there and I saw something... I found out something"

"They're alive??"

"Not both of them....only my daughter, and you might know who she is"

Ryujin's

"Ryujin, why'd you want to go to Gangnam again?"

Chaeyoung asked me, I wanted to visit my relatives there so I asked Chae if she can go with me since Yeji is at her dad's office

" I want to visit my relatives, It's been a long time since I saw them you know"

The relatives I'm talking about is mostly my mom's cousins they're my real relatives, my aunt that I used to live with is just my mom's step sister that's why we're not entirely blood related

"so the real cousins? You know what my blood boiled a hundred times when I found out that your aunt isn't blood related to you, She treated you like a rug the heck, I could just punch her in the gut together with her two daughters"

"Well they made my life a memorable one"

I never liked the way my aunt treated me but it doesn't mean that I hate her completely, She's still my mother's sister and I think she's kind enough to let me sleep in their house

"Ryujin, about your dad....Do you really nit know him? Like in your entire existence? It's weird because your mom never introduced him to you"

" Well I don't actually know, My aunt always told me that I was an illegitimate child, that my father didn't cared about me and mom so I didn't ask more about him...it doesn't matter anyway"

It doesn't really matter to me wether I know him or not, the fact that he didn't looked for me and mom proved that he really doesn't want us to be in his life...

"We're here!"

I got out of the car and Chaeyoung goes after me, I immediately saw Aunt Irene on her house's porch

"Aunt Irene!!" I ran to her and she welcome me with a hug

"Ryujin, It's been a long time since I saw you, how are you? I haven't given you my present for your birthday yet" Aunt Irene is affluent but not very rich

"oh is this your friend? Come on in you two" she opened the door for us and we went inside her house, We are greeted with the smokey scent of ham

"Ryujin, why didn't you came to visit the day after your birthday like you used to?" 

" I'm not living with Aunt Min-ah now, I'm working for the Hwangs"

" Hwangs? As in Hwang Jiyong??" I nodded, she seemed shocked...Yeji's family is really a big deal here in our country so maybe that's why aunt Irene is so shocked

"Ryujin?? You're here! I waited for you on your birthday" Seulgi said and hugged me, she's living with Aunt Irene and according to then they're just friends....well they seem to be very good friends when I saw them kissed once...on the lips

"I'm just busy Seulgi" I should've live with Aunt Irene when mom died but the lawyer gave me to my other aunt

"So you're busy now young lady? I'll give you my gift later and then me, you and Chaeyoung will drink" Aunt Irene slap Seulgi's arm

" Yah don't teach the kids to drink, they're still young"

Oh...only if she knew that I lost mine when I was drunk....

Aunt Irene set up the table and we started eating, Seulgi prepared enough food it's like she know that me and Chaeyoung will arrive

"You prepared just enough food huh Seul" Chaeyoung said and Aunt Irene laughed

"Oh, since Ryujin's birthday she always prepared this amount of food because she's afraid that anytime soon you and ryujin will visit, and she's right you two arrived at very unexpected time" 

After eating we went back to the living room and they gave me their gifts

"Ryujin I know that it's not much but I still remember the day you told me you wanted a skateboard...I know that was like 5 years ago...but I figured that Min-ah will not buy you one so here" Aunt Irene gave me a customized skateboard with my name on it

"Hey we can visit the skatepark together now Ryu!"

"Yeah, Thank you for this Aunt Irene....i really appreciate that you still remember my most wanted gift!" It's true that I want a skateboard since I was 13, I just borrow from Chaeyoung

"She bought the board before me, that was supposed to be my gift...but of course I'm not gonna let her win haha" she gave me a box and I opened it... it's a necklace with a heart pendant, I opened the pendant and ot has a picture of me, my mom, aunt Irene and Seulgi...it was taken before mom died...

"Look seulgi you made Ryujin cry! I'm not going to forgive you"

"It's beautiful Seulgi, thank you" i embrace her with a hug...

"aw that's nothing kid...see Irene i got the most memorable gift"

" No,no both of your gifts are memorable...thank you" they both hugged me

I saw a Aunt Irene's phone lit up and showed a contact named Jaebom...does she know uncle Jaebom?

" Aunt irene someone's calling you.." I pointed at her phone and she panicked when she saw the name...she didn't answer it

"Jaebom? I know someone named Jaebom too..."

"Really what's his real name?" Seulgi asked me hesitantly

"Im Jaebom....He is Ms. Hwang's butler"

They looked shocked ....

" Uh you guys okay?" Chaeyoung asked them

" Ryujin....Im Jaebom...he"

Aunt Irene was cut off when My phone ring

" Hello Yeji?"

" Ryujin tell Chaeyoung to drive home now...we need to talk about something"

" Uh....Aunt Irene, Seulgi we need to go...I will visit again next week...Bye Aunt Irene, seulgi" i hugged them for the last time before going out....I hope nothing much happened in Seoul when we're away
