I am beyond tired today, I couldn't even fathom the idea to take a good walk outside this four gray walls surrounding me, it's like I am paralyzed from a disease. There's just so much going on with the company, the sales are going down and one of our business partners just dropped their deal with us, and here I am bearing all of the work

"Yeji! Let's race later?" Aeri barged inside my office looking all so happy and charming, now tell me why is she not stressed with what's been going on in our company

"The company is in the brink of bankruptcy and here you are all smiley and asking me to race"

"Come on, live a little Yeji it's been so long since we raced, plus I bet the money is bigger now, what do you think?"

Money... Of all the things in life money was the last thing that I should have a problem with, but here I am lacking financially and maybe this offer can help

"So... I just confirmed it, 6 events 3 laps each and every event gives a million dollar, what do you say? " She asked me while scrolling though her phone

"a million grand? If we won at those events we'll get six... What are the requirements? "

" Oh nothing much because it's illegal"

Right... Illegal racing ugh I have no choice if I don't do this the company that my dad built will shamble down

After I got home, I checked my Cayman GT4 rs, I don't use this that much because when I bought this I only have one use for it and it's for drag racing

"That's what you always say" she said and winked at me, is she flirting right now?

"Okay so I'll be out tonight with Aeri, don't wait for me okay?"

She just nodded and look closely to my car

"Dad cleaned this just this morning and he said you asked him to bring this to the mechanic which is a bit weird because you don't use this that much but you're going out tonight using this?"

"Well I just missed my GT4 rs that's it, plus Aeri requested me to bring this specific car she said she missed being on the shot gun"

" Okay, you two be safe later! I want you mo scratches okay? "

" Yes ma'am " i kissed her before Entering the car, Aeri has been waiting for me at the gate and knowing her she's probably fuming because I'm so slow

"Having trouble saying goodbye to the gf?" Aeri asked while buckling her seat belt

"You could say that" I started to drive to the location, it's a bit secluded and far from the usual place we race

I recognize some of the faces here, like yeonjun and soobin

A small woman squealed when she saw me and Aeri going out the car

"I'm Pham Hanni, the event organizer"
