Camilla and I were the happiest couple in the whole world but with our previous experiences, we couldn't talk so soon. Our gardener used to let anyone into our house, I still don't know why. It was okay when Lucy or Christine visited us but this time he let in someone entirely new to our lives. Camilla and I were having breakfast when someone knocked on the door. I tried to look through the window to see who it was but our gardener had already opened the back door. I knew he was coming to visit us. I just didn't expect he would actually do it.
Mr. Ontiveros: Camilla. Giovanni.
Camilla: Dad, what are you doing here? How did you get in?
Mr Ontiveros: The gardener let me in.
Giovanni: Of course he did.
Mr. Ontiveros: I needed to see my daughter and if you'll have me, I would like nothing more than to be part of your family.
Camilla: Oh, dad. I'm glad you're here.
Mr. Ontiveros: And, Giovanni?
Giovanni: Yes, sir?
Mr. Ontiveros: I'm sorry for all the things I said to you. You seem like a great guy and thank you for loving my daughter.
Giovanni: She's amazing, just like her father.
Mr. Ontiveros: So, what are we having for breakfast?
To be honest, it felt weird that out of nowhere he decided to apologize. It seemed too good to be true but it made your mother happy, so I went along with it. I had a bad feeling even though I tried to ignore it.
