~-~-~Aiko tried to ignore the dead name, he was used to hearing it by now- He was okay when he called him by his nickname, Saki- Well not that okay- But it's better than his full dead name. Anyways, he tried to get up to go buy the fresh fruit and milk but fell to the floor, only to let his face take the pressure of hitting the floor. Low iron deficiency was a true curse. He helped himself up and went to get the keys out of where they where kept. He spied the bright ruby red dish from all the way down the hall. Aiko hadn't taken one bite of my food and he was 78% sure that his mom hadn't completely noticed- He grabbed the keys out of the small oriental dish they where kept in, it was ruby red so that his mom could always find it if it went missing. It's colors brighter than the sun.
Aiko: Bye, Dad!!
Aiko's Dad: Bye Sa-
And with that, the door was closed shut. That was one dead naming he had avoided. Gold star for him. He looked up at the blazing sun and his biggest thought was 'Why did it have to be so hot, today?!' Aiko's skin was super pale and has always been easily burned by the massive glowing orb in the sky we called the sun. Aiko tried to shelter himself from the sun by walking under overhangs and other large objects that cast big shadows he could safely secure himself from sunburns under.
He reached the edge of an over hang and looked ahead, it seemed to be a whole street on the way to the supermarket with not one overhang, he glanced at the other side of the street. It took him a few moments to process the fact that he had no where to hide from the disgusting sun. Yuck. He turned the other way and glanced down an alley way. It was dark and dim lit.
Aiko knew what he had to do, he started walking down the alley way. He felt the cool shade on his back. But then he heard a terrible, scratchy voice besides him. As if some big bulky man was right behind him. He abruptly turned around. The big man was shorter than expected but still buff in all the wrong areas. He had big muscular legs but small wimpy arms, as if he played too much soccer as a kid-
Man: Hey, kid.
Aiko stepped back, waiting for his mind to process what was going on, he had always had low processing speed, causing him to process information at a slower pace than other humans do. He looked up at the man, his brain taking its time.
Voice: HEY!! GET AWAY FROM THEM-
Aiko was still looking at the man, who glanced behind himself. Standing there was a tall boy, not as tall as the man but still quite tall. He had deep black-brown hair and sparkling green eyes that where full of anger and hatred. To the big mans dismay, Aiko had finally processed the situation.
He looked up at the man's face, though he was facing away. Aiko smiled. Aiko kicked the man hard in the leg and the man winced and bended down, clearly in pain. Aiko spit on the mans head as the other boy watched with wide eyes, as if in shock the little boy had so much power. Aiko turned and made his way out of the alley way, continuing through his short cut to get to the supermarket.
The boy who came to 'help' Aiko ran after him. He called after him.
Boy: Hey!! Who are you?
Aiko: I'm Aiko.
The boy was running and Aiko was walking. The boy squeezed past him and stood in front of him. Aiko stopped. The boy held out his hand, as if he wanted to shake hands with him.
Boy: I'm Haru
Aiko took Haru's hand and shook it. Aiko smiled slightly, he wanted to get past Haru, but he would be polite. This boy did come to save him, whether he needed it or not. He seemed sweet and caring, despite his looming figure being nine inches taller than him.
Aiko: Thanks for being a distraction
Aiko winked up at Haru, he had sas, this would eventually scare him away. Haru just laughed. A strange reaction.
Haru: My pleasure, I'm at your service
Haru let go of Aiko's hand and did a little mocking bow. Aiko walked past him, being small enough to squeeze in the gap between the alley and Haru. He could sense Haru start to walk behind him. Aiko blushed a bit but quickly squeezed his eyes and rocked his head back and forth in a rapid, violent shaking motion. He didn't want to feel something for someone who was probably taken, not to mention the fact that he had a lover himself. Haru pushed himself in front and then Haru grabbed Aiko's wrist and ran to the end of the alleyway, forcing Aiko along with him.
Haru: Come on, let's get out of this dump!!
Aiko rolled his eyes, he quite liked looming in the shadows of the vast alleyway. He didn't like the sun at all. Though he did tend to be reddening. He was blushing. Disgusting. He was literally in love with Liam- Though Liam was never this kind. But Aiko was sure Haru would end up being a normal human, cold and untrustworthy. All humans where the same, no changing that!!
They reached the end of the alley and Haru dropped Aiko's wrist. Aiko looked down at it, it was bruised.. Haru must have squeezed too hard, though it wasn't his fault!! Aiko had always easily bruised. You could squeeze him slightly and he would bruise. It didn't hurt, but Aiko covered it with his jacket. He walked forward and grabbed Haru's hand, letting their fingers in twine. Haru looked down at Aiko and Aiko looked up at Haru. Now, they where both blushing.
