" I want you in the most unromantic way." Pierce The Veil
I didn't put lyrics in the last chapter oops.
Maybe it's just a coincidence that Fratrick and Gadam ended up at the same restaurant that fateful night or perhaps it was all a plan by the illuminati but either way here they were, stood on a fancy restaurant sipping wine and waiting for tables. Adam was telling Gerard a pointless story about his hot assistant while Gerard was watching Franks lips on his glass from across the bar and his face crinkling when he laughed at a tedious joke made by the man Gerard is going to refer to as Satan. Now Gerard isn't completely oblivious, he knows these feelings he has for Frank are not normal friendship feelings but he is oblivious enough to not know what his feelings exactly are.
"Stump, table for two?" the couple smiled at the young waitress and walked off to sit at a small table at the back with a red candle dripping wax onto the crimson table cloth.
" Luck table for two?" maybe this was another illuminati coincidence but their table was cituated right next to Fratrick's. Frank hadn't noticed Gerard was in the restaurant yet but he sure would now as he watched Gerard fall over a chair on the way to the table. Adam shot Gerard a death glare as he helped him off the floor and to the table. Adam was such a gentlemen he didn't even pull Gerards chair out for him to sit down. Such nice manners. So Gerard sat himself down, blushing and silently praying to any god at all for Frank to have not seen him.
But in that moment Gerard remembered Why he wasn't religious.
" Oh hey Gee. " Frank smiled at the man he knew he had a tiny crush on in a timid voice. Patrick looked over and smiled at Adam who was staring at Frank, wondering who the little man thought he was. Gerard was his date. No one else's. A pretty little waitress walked over to Fratrick's table to take their drink orders. Adam took this as an opportunity to pull Gerards hand in his own to prove to Frank and perhaps even himself that this was a date and himself and gerard were a couple. Gerard himself however wasn't so sure about this. As you can probably tell the whole situation is pretty hectic but we are not even halfway though the evening yet, ladies and gentlemen. Shall we recap? Basically both couples are on dates with tables next to eachothers, Frank likes Gerard, gerard doesn't realise he likes Frank but Adam does and is jealous, Patrick is just a cute little potato who has no cares in the world.
The same waitress who served Fratrick's table drink approaches Gadam.
" Hello sirs can I get you a drink? "
" A bottle of your most expensive red wine please." Adam spat. He was giving Frank eye contact the entire time he spoke this sentence.
" Anything else? "
" No."
" yes. " Gerard quietly muttered, " Diet coke please."
" Gerard look where we are, this is the most expensive restaurant in town and you're getting diet coke? No you're getting wine. "
" Adam you know I can't drink. "
" Oh stop being a pansy! Fine get your majesty a diet coke then. "
The waiters awkwardly scurried away after writing down the order. Gerard looked to his lap and began to fiddle with his thumbs while listening to Franks giggles at the table next to him. After two minutes of silence Gerards phone vibrated in his pocket.
One new text.
Unknown number.
My love I know this is cowardly, texting anonymously but you are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.Frank watched as Gerard smiled at his phone and blushed a deep crimson. He made sure Gerard hadn't seen him type that message because God that would of been awkward. Frank only had a cheap phone because of his lack of money so typing that message took quite a while with the shifting autocorrect and fear of Gerard turning around and catching him at any moment. But thankfully it went well and everyone was happy.
