Madeline jerked up with wide eyes the moment she felt someone slap her cheek. Her eyes frantically searched the room as she saw Elena walking away from her.

" What happened ?!" she asked her.

" Wake up or else you'll be late to school."

" You could have done it a lot gentler !" she exclaimed.

" Yeah...but where would be the fun in that ?" Elena shrugged, but then ducked as Madeline threw her slipper at her.

She cursed under her breath before sliding off her bed and drowsily walking into the bathroom to brush her teeth. However, her eyes kept drooping as her brushing became slower by the second and she fell asleep with it still in her mouth.

" Madeline !" someone banged on the bathroom door as she woke up with a startle and started brushing once again, shaking her head every once in a while so as to not fall asleep again.

After wiping her face with the hand towel Madeline went to her room, opening her cupboard only for all the clothes to fall on her face.

Madeline groaned and stuffed them in the cupboard, then tiptoed to her twin sisters room wearing only a black skinny jeans and her bra to borrow an outfit.

Although her sister and herself didn't really share the same taste in clothing, there were a few pieces in Elena's cupboard on which Madeline was impressed that her sister had bought.

She gasped when she saw her denim jacket stuffed into the corner of the cupboard. This only motivated Madeline to dig deeper into Elena's cupboard, where she found quite the amount of things which belonged to her.

" What are you doing ?!" Elena's voice called out as Madeline locked the door which forbade her from entering the room.

" Taking back what's mine." she replied as she heard Elena scoff.

Madeline looked to the pile of clothes and surprisingly enough was able to make an outfit considering how Elena kept complaining that her fashion sense was worse than Janis Ian from Mean Girls. Madeline would always disagree saying that Janis was the original 'e-girl' and that Elena was just jealous as she could never pull off such outfits.

She 'borrowed' Elena's black and white strip t-shirt and wore her denim jacket over the black jeans that she had been wearing.
