09 : The Feeling Of Family

"What do you think you're doing?" Lisa gulped staring at his emotionless face. When he slowly opened his dark misty eyes, she couldn't help but flutter her eyes to look back at him. Those eyes were too scary, yet so deep hiding so many emotions.

"I- I just... Uhm" She looked down before abruptly looking back at him, this time a little confidentiality. "Well, you're the one who's holding me in sleep. So, shouldn't I be the one asking you that? W-what are you trying to do?" Her confident yet stuttering voice somehow amused him as she saw the corners of his lips lifting up and then forming in a beautiful small smile.

Her heart fluttered badly as they continued to stare at each other without saying anything. Soon, the silence in the room was broken by her phone. She immediately got up feeling slightly embarassed and immediately grabbed her mobile. Turning her back to him, she hastily answered the phone without even checking who called.

"H-hello?" Even a simple greeting revealed how nervous and embarassed she was just now and she mentally cursed herself for acting so impulsive infront of him. "Lisayah! Where are you? Aren't you attending the new year party tonight with Jungkook-ssi?" Lisa immediately recognised Chaeyoung's sweet voice.

She arched her neck to look at Jungkook who was by now sitting beside her on the bed, scrolling through his phone. "Ah? Why? What happened? Why are you asking?" Lisa asked confusedly.

"Ah! I'll tell you once you come here! I'm already here on the rooftop where the party is being held! And I'm telling you! You have to come here as soon as possible! I want to tell you something really important!!" Chaeyoung declared and before Lisa could even say anything, the call was disconnected already.

After a moment of silence, she stood up and faced Jungkook. "Uhm, are we... going to the party tonight?" Jungkook turned to look at her before letting out a scoff. "We? No thanks! I have more important works to do other than wasting my time on these parties! You can go if you want! I'm not coming!" Jungkook unbotheredly kept checking through his mailes.

Lisa sighed glaring at him. What does he meant by important works? Aren't they on their honeymoon? What's here more important for him other then his wife? She couldn't help but curse at him mentally.

"Fine then! I'll go and enjoy myself with Jimin-ssi and-"

"He is also attending?" Lisa was abruptly interrupted. She stared at him before asking, "What?"

"Park Jimin. Is he also attending the party?" Jungkook asked with a serious face as he stood up from bed and immediately came towards her side. "Yes. Ofcourse he will come. Everyone who's living in the hotel tonight is invited and Chaeyoung told me that they're already there at the rooftop where the party is." Lisa nodded twice at her own explanation.

Jungkook went silent for another minute before nodding his head. When Lisa noticed him taking out one of his most stylish suits from his bag, she immediately walked to him and asked with a mocking tone, "Why? Aren't you busy with your so called 'Important works'? Why are you getting ready now?" Jungkook's hands abrupty stopped doing their work and he glared at her silently.

After thinking for awhile, he came with a good reason, "Well, I'm going there since Chaeyoung is coming. It has nothing to do with you or anyone!" His lips again lifted up in a cocky smirk. Meanwhile Lisa's proud smile slowly vanished.

But little did she knew, when Jungkook got to know that Jimin was also attending the party with Chaeyoung, he had that unknown instinct that it's not good for her to go alone as he knew Jimin's flirt personality. He can not trust Jimin at all. Even though somewhere in his heart, he knew Jimin won't cross the line, but he still don't want Lisa to go anywhere near him.
