10 : The Bromance

Jungkook cleared his throat as he avoided her gaze and looked around. The tips of his ears turning red didn't go unnoticed by Lisa and she giggled silently. "Happy New Year Lisa and Jungkook-ssi." Chaeyoung suddenly jumped between them and wished with a bright smile.

Jungkook looked at her and softly smiled before muttering, "Happy New Year, Chaeyoung-ssi." When he wished Chaeyoung, Lisa couldn't helo but frown. When she wished him, he didn't said anything but now that Chaeyoung wished him, he responded to her with a smile? How rude?

Lisa completely ignored the way she just now made him blush.

"Happy New Year Lisa-ssi, I hope our bond will go much stronger in the new year." Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted as Jimin came in front of her, blocking her vision of Jungkook. Lisa warmly smiled at him and wished him back. She secretly glanced at Jungkook who was obviously glaring at Jimin.

"Okay, let me grab some drinks for all of us!" Chaeyoung chirped and called the waiter. She handed everyone a glass full of wine and all four of them hesitantly toasted before sipping their wines.

After emptying a glass full of wine, Jungkook's throat still felt dry so he execused himself saying that he would go grab some more drinks. When he was about to walk away, he suddenly felt a soft, small tug at his arm and he turned around to look at Lisa, who whispered slowly to him, "Don't drink too much."

If it would be the old Jungkook who clearly hated Lisa, he would have simply shrugged off her arm and would have drank alot. But now, he didn't know why, he felt really happy seeing each of her movement towards him. Now that she doesn't want him to drink, he will obey and will not drink much.

When Jungkook was out of sight, Chaeyoung giggled and hugged Lisa's arm. "Ah! You have already controlled him. Teach me also, I also want my husband to listen to me!" Jimin glared at her and handed her his empty glass. "Even if you will tell me not to drink much, I will still drink." He cockily told her before leaving toward the bar area.

"Aish this brat!" Chaeyoung glared at his back and Lisa laughed.

It's been almost 20 minutes since the two sisters started chatting and didn't realised the time. Suddenly Lisa realised that both Jungkook and Jimin hadn't returned yet so they decided to check on their husbands.

As Lisa and Chaeyoung were looking for Jungkook and Jimin, they suddenly noticed a crowd cheering around someone. They immediately moved forward and immediately widened their eyes seeing the scene in front of them.

"What the hell is going on here?" Lisa muttered under her breath when she saw Jungkook and Jimin sitting opposite to each other on chairs, continuously gulping down shots of alcohol while glaring at each other.

A lady beside them who was also enjoying the battle heard Lisa's question and chuckled before saying, "A challenge was going on here and the bartender provoked these two guys to battle together. But the battle was to finish 16 shots. But these two already drank everything in less than a minute so now the battle is going on about who will drink the most and who will give up first." Chaeyoung and Lisa widened their already parted mouth and eyes when they heard the lady's explanation.

"What the! How childish!" Chaeyoung mumbled in disbelief. At that moment, they couldn't help but doubt at the thought of Jimin and Jungkook being the most famous businessman in South Korea. They're totally opposite here.

Without thinking anything further, Chaeyoung immediately ran towards Jimin, and Lisa ran towards Jungkook. "What are you doing Jungkook? Stop it!" Lisa held his shoulder to support is unbalanced body. Jungkook struggled to keep his eyes open as he again glared at Jimin who was having the same situation as him.
