We drove them to the airport and dropped them off.
I got out to say goodbye.
Sarah-" Bye Mom. Bye Dad. "
A tear rolled down my cheek.
Mom-" Don't cry sweetie. We'll come visit you. I promise. "
Dad-" We love you sweetheart."
Sarah-" I'll miss you guys. "
Harry came over and said goodbye. Before they went into the airport they looked back and smiled.
Mom and Dad-" Happy early 21st birthday! Don't get too crazy!"
I smiled and waved back.
We got back home an went to bed. That night I had a horrible dream. It was so bad that I was crying and screaming in my sleep. I heard Harry call my name trying to wake me up.
Harry-" Sarah, wake up! You're just having a nightmare."
I felt his arms around me.
Harry-" I am right here, babe. "
Sarah-" It was horrible. I dreamt that you and my parents had left to go to America without me and your plane...it crashed. "
I had lied to Harry. The dream wasn't about him. It was about Liam. Liam and my parents had left to go to America to finalize the wedding plans and their plane crashed.
Harry cuddled me and he went back to sleep. I stayed up the rest of the night thinking of what the dream meant. Maybe I needed to end Liam and I's affair. It's probably for the best, but I don't know if I can even end it. The next morning came around and Harry was already up. I walked into the living room to find Harry eating a bowl of cereal.
Harry-" Well happy 21st birthday beautiful! It's about time you had gotten up. "
Sarah-" Thank you! "
Harry-" The lads and I are meeting up for a day of golf today. "
Sarah-" On my birthday?"
Harry-" It's really important. I'll take you out to dinner tonight. I promise. "
He quickly finished his bowl of cereal and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
Harry-" I'll see you tonight at six. "
He winked at me.
Harry-" Wear something pretty."
Sarah-" Wait!"
He was already out the door.
I heard my phone vibrate in the living room. It was a text from Liam.
Liam- Happy Birthday Babe! xxxx
Sarah- Thank you Liam. :)
Since Harry was out I decided to talk to Leah on Skype about Liam. It was 7am in America but it was the only time I could catch her.
Leah-" Hey girl! Happy birthday! How are you?"
Sarah-" I'm alright. Just confused. "
Leah-" Well what's wrong?"
I explained my affair with Liam and how confused I was about what I should do.
Leah-" Liam broke up with his girlfriend for you?"
Sarah-" Yeah, but the problem is even if I break up with Harry and date Liam it would be super awkward. I love Harry and I also love Liam. What should I do?"
Leah-" I just can't believe out of all people you're the one that has an affair. "
Sarah-" I'm not proud of it. "
Leah-" I don't know what to tell you. I'm just really shocked. "
I hung my head.
Sarah-" I don't know what to do, Leah. "
Leah-" Honey, you need to go meet some people in London. I can't just fly there every time you need me. "
Sarah-" What if I had Harry fly you out here?"
Leah-" I can't. This college means a lot to me. "
I sighed.
Sarah-" I don't know who else to talk to. "
Leah-" Just do what your heart tells you. If it wants Liam get him and if it wants Harry get him."
Sarah-" I want them both. "
Leah-" It doesn't work like that. Just think about it for a couple of days. I have to go get ready for my morning classes. Have a great birthday!"
I brought a smile onto my face.
Sarah-" Thank you, Leah. That's why you're my best friend. "
The Skype call ended.
I didn't need to fret about this on my birthday. A Birthday is supposed to be celebrating. I grabbed muffin, put a candle in it, and mumbled to myself.
Sarah-" Happy birthday to me. I wish Harry and Liam were here with me. "
I spent a couple of hours with Max and watched movies until it was time to get ready. I slipped on a light pink strapless high/low dress with beading around the waist. My light brown hair was full of loose curls and I put on darker shades of eyeshadow. The white high heels that I put on complemented the dress perfectly. There was a knock on the door. I opened it to find Harry.
Harry-" Hello my lady!"
He grabbed my hand and twirled me around.
Sarah-" You brought a tux with you golfing?"
Harry-" I changed at Louis' place after golfing."
Sarah-" Why didn't y..."
Harry-" No time for questions! We'll be late!"
He pulled me out the door and into his car.
Sarah-" So where are we going? Oh wait you're not going to tell me. Right?"
Harry-" Correct. "
We arrived at Liam's house.
Sarah-" Harry...what are we doing here?"
Harry-" Shhhh."
Harry opened my door and led me to the front door. When I walked in it was completely silent. Suddenly the light flipped on and everyone yelled "SURPRISE!"
I was in complete shock.
