It has been almost twenty years since Mina died, and yet here you are. Still visiting her grave site several times a year. You walk up to the cold stone that marks where she was buried, flowers resting on top from the last person here. 'Odd, this wasn't me...I guess some of the others still visit too.' the thought brings a small smile to your lips, but it quickly disappears again when you sit down.
"Hey, Mina. It's been what, three months since I last visited? Sorry for taking so long, but you know how it is, hero work and everything. The agency has been running smoothly, but with four of the top ten working together that isn't much of a surprise. Alex is doing well, he is graduating this week, and Minako will be taking the entrance exam the day before that. You would be so proud of them, Mina...these kids are so hard working...all of them are.
Anyway, Eijiro is still missing, but some people report seeing someone with a similar description out in Angola. it has been almost 20 years since he left, though, so it could be him. I still remember it like yesterday...we graduated and within a day he was gone. It must have been your death that drove him to, but I just wish he would have talked to someone about it." you admit.
You take a deep breath and look around the cemetery. It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, and not a cloud in the sky. Not a day of mourning. You lie down so you are parallel with Mina's body deep underground, and close your eyes. "I really am sorry that I couldn't do anything for you. I say it every time I visit, but I would have done anything to bring you back. Asked Eri, bargained with the Chisakis, anything at all. But I was too slow. By the time I snapped out of my shock, you were long gone. Taken by the hospital staff. I tried so hard, Mina. I tried everything to get your body back. But those damn doctors wouldn't let me. Even with top level pro heroes, they wouldn't let us try. I know why though...it was your family, right? You told them not to bring you back. You wouldn't want to come back, would you?" with your eyes still closed, you feel a warm, pleasant breeze blowing across your body. "Of course not..." you stand up with a small smile, and take one last look at Mina's grave. "I love you little sis, I will forever. See you in a few weeks." with that, you turn and start walking away, not quite sure where.

Eventually you made your way back to the Agency, and head up to the top floor. The floor you share with Kyoka and your family. When you step out of the elevator, Kyoka immediately notices and walks over. "How did it go?" she asks, "It went well. I missed her a lot." you admit before giving Kyoka a peck on the cheek. "Where are Alex and Minako?" you ask while glancing around. "Alex is in his room like always, and Minako went out with some friends." she explains, "Which ones?" "Michi and Masaaki, but I think they were meeting another one or two as well." Kyoka suddenly reaches into her pocket and rips out her phone. "Home invasion on 36th street. Ready?" she asks, "lets go, I guess."
Within minutes you are both suited up, and heading out the door. Before you can leave, however, your son walks out from his room. He is a fairly tall, muscular, 19 year old boy with short purple hair. "Where are you going?" he asks, "36th street, shouldn't take long." you answer, "Good luck." the two of you dash out the door, and leap from the nearest window. After a split second of free fall, you grab Kyoka and start propelling both of you towards the break-in. When you get over the neighborhood, you can see a massive plume of smoke above the address. "I thought you said it was a home invasion..." you mutter, "It was, but apparently shit went south."
You drop down gently in from of the house with Kyoka, and see nothing but a blazing inferno in front of you. "I can hear the police coming, should be less than a minute now." Kyoka calls out, "Unfortunately not much we can do about fire...but can you listen to see if anyone is still in there?" Kyoka plugs her jack into the ground, and immediately starts to speak. "Five people in the middle of the second floor, definitely pretty young, screaming, and one is breathing very erratically." Without a second thought, you use an over blast to launch yourself into the black smoke above the house, and make your way to roughly the center of the house. "Right there!" Kyoka shouts, so you overclock x5 and start ripping through the roof. "Anyone in there!?" you shout, "Dad! In here!" the unmistakable voice of Minako screams. You destroy enough of the roof to get down into the building, and see Minako, Masaaki, Michi, and their two friends separated from you by a wall of fire. "Get down!" they all duck, and you clap as hard as you can, eliminating some of the fire. "Get over here!" they all dash over to you, and one by one you lift them up out of the building. When it is only Michi left, you look over to him. "This fire, was it you, or Masaaki?" you ask him, "Me..." he admits, "Is the intruder still here?" "No, once I started breathing fire, it ran off." "It?" he seems to flinch, as if he didn't mean to say anything. "It was mostly naked, just wearing tattered shorts, super pale, perfectly white hair, and uh...spiky black wings." he relents. "Okay...lets go." you haul him out of the burning building, joining with the others on the roof. "Get down here! the building could collapse at any second!" Kyoka screams, "Masaaki, take someone and get down!" She nods, her short blond hair slightly singed, and grabs her closest friend. Leaping off the roof, she eliminates the fall by using an explosion out of her hand. Following her lead, you grab Minako and her other friend, and instead of using anything to break your fall, you just take it to the legs. After setting the both down, you jump back up for Michi and bring him down as well.
"Is anyone on their way for the fire?" you ask Kyoka, "Shoto will be here any minute." she says while walking over to the kids. "What the hell happened?" you glance towards Minako's friends you don't know before speaking out, "Now isn't the time, Jack. We need to call in a sidekick to deal with the police, and then call together the team. Everyone." you say sternly, "Okay...you all get home now, no stops along the way." Kyoka orders. "Fine..." Masaaki starts dragging Michi and Minako away, and the other two follow quickly.
Placing your finger to your headphones, you press a button to connect to the entire team's ear pieces. "I need Shoto to get here now, and then a sidekick needs to come deal with the police. Within an hour, unless something is life or death, I need the whole team in the meeting room. This is extremely important." you order. "(Y/n), what did you see in there?" Kyoka asks in concern, "I will explain everything. Just give me some time to collect my thoughts." "Alright...go ahead and head back to the tower. I can deal with this." you kiss her goodbye, and start using overblasts to fly back to the tower. Once you arrive, you walk into the meeting room, and slump down into your seat. "So, angel of death, you are real..."
