Roughly seven hours pass, all the while you are in contact with Anima, Cellophane, Chargebolt, and Tsukuyomi outside Japan. Each of them helping whoever they come across, but finding no heroes, police, or any other sort of authority. "The tsunami is making contact! The dome should be safe, but be prepared just in case!" Your earpiece suddenly buzzes to life, Ingenium's voice ringing through. Before you can give him any orders, he disconnects and doesn't answer any return calls. "Get Earphone Jack, Uravity, and Kamui Woods on top of the dome, ASAP! They need to make sure we are safe from this tsunami!" people start rushing around, and your earpiece starts broadcasting once again.

"This is Gentle Criminal! Suneater, La Brava, and I are trying to keep a building of civilians safe, but even with our strength, this building can only last so long! We are in Fukuoka, and I do not believe Kyushu or Okinawa will survive this onslaught!" he warns, "Hold tight, Gentle! I'll come get you all out myself! What are your coordinates?" You ask Urgently, "Goodbye, my frie-" His voice is cut off and all you can hear is a building collapsing into thrashing water. You lower your head and close your eyes in grief. "La Brava, Suneater, and Gentle...Hero have been killed in the tsunami." you announce to the room. "They did their best." Shoto sighs.

"Protector, sir! This tsunami is off the charts. Tsukuyomi has confirmed that Shanghai and the surrounding area is nothing but a crater, but this is beyond what that could have caused. Far beyond. Every coastline is being hammered by 163 meter high waves!" your heart drops to your stomach, and you dial into the Hero Network's radio frequency, allowing you to speak to all Surviving Japanese heroes. "Unnatural tsunamis are destroying Japan! Seek high ground, or get to the dome if you can. This is an evolving situation, I'm not sure how much we can aid anyone on the outside." a chorus of agreements, acknowledgements, and panicked reactions flood your ears, before everything goes silent once more.

While water overtakes all coastal cities in Japan, you stay on standby with the rest of the heroes inside the dome. Shoto, Phantom Theif, Uravity, and Hinote wait patiently on top of the dome, ready to freeze any water that gets close.

Two days pass in this standstill, and by the time it is over, four more hero deaths are confirmed. Real Steel and Vantablack are killed while trying to evacuate a hospital, having failed. Rule is killed by a rogue villain, and Shemage was swept out to sea while trying to create a barricade of mushrooms.

Within the week, water reaches the dome. The Todorokis are able to freeze it all, but it's arrival seals away any hope you had left for mainland Japan. Three months pass before the water recedes. When it does, all that is left is ruin. Zero life of any sort. All plants, animals...and people, are wiped out.

While Japan was flooded, your team worked tirelessly to contact anyone at all, yielding no results. Eventually, though, something changes. "(Y/n)! Something's coming! I see a massive pillar of steam headed our way!" Mt. Lady shouts from atop the dome. You come outside, and before you is a billowing pillar, going as high as you can see, making steady progress towards the dome. "I'll go check it out. Be right back." you use overblasts to fly over, and land at the base of the column. Before you, stands a being of pure fire. One that you called upon almost four months prior. "Who are you?!" The being shouts. "It's me, (Y/n). Mark?" the being lets out a sigh of relief and collapses to his knees. His body reverts back to it's normal form, revealing someone clutching to his back. "(Y/n)...thank goodness." Kate starts crying softly, and crawls forward. "Whoa, whoa, relax. How are you two here? We thought we lost you." you admit. "We walked. Believe it or not, the Pacific is pretty big." Mark chuckles. "Jesus...Let's get you two some help."

You help the two of them walk back to the dome. When you arrive, everyone is shocked, but are respectful and give them space. They clean up, have a nice meal, and reconvene wit honly you in the meeting room. "So what the hell happened?" You ask them. "We don't know." Kate says, clearly upset. "When we got the report that Phoenix was completely annihilated by something, we tried to cheack it out, but a wave of destruction was approaching fast. We took one of the jets, and the others at the agency took a few others. They were all shot out of the sky by meteors. We barely made it." Mark sighs. "When the jet ran out of fuel, we crashed into the ocean. It took me biting a chunk out of my arm, but Mark eventually got worked up enough to become that flame avatar you saw earlier. He evaporated all the water withing several feet. That was sixteen days ago." Kate says, holding up a bloody, bandaged arm. "How did you not burn her?" You ask Mark, "He did. At first, at least. That got him even more protective. Eventually it stopped hurting me. A neccessary quirk awakening, I would presume." Kate explains.

"Did you ever figure out your quirk?" "For the most part. If I talk to someone who is already crushing on me, then I can't control it. Other than that, I am fine to talk to people." Kate answers. "Good, good. To get you caught up here, everything is fucked. You are the first outsiders we have heard from or had any reason to believe were alive in over three months. We are running on empty. This dome is most likely what is left."

You leave them both to get some sleep, and report in to all the other heroes what happened. When you return to the top of the dome with Mt. Lady, you both hear a loud crack and about half a mile away an explosion of dust starts billowing through the air. "What the-" A massive shape comes barrelling out, at least ten meteres tall. The behemoth holds some sort of concrete block, and places it down gently before breaking into a sprint again, directly towards you. The same Monster that you couldn't defeat in Angola. "Sound the alarm!" Mt. Lady shouts before leaping down from the dome. in midair, she grows giant, but is still much shorter than the mountain-like being. You press down on your earpiece and begin spouting orders. "Red alert! Get everyone underground! All heroes report to your stations, all front-liners get to the west side of the dome!" You watch Mt. Lady ready her fists. "STOP! Mt. Lady, Even I couldn't hurt this thing with brute force!" You try to scream to her, but she either doesn't hear you, or ignores you.

The Monster doesn't slow at all, going for Mt. Lady full speed. It's fingers grow out in length, resembling claws, and in a single swipe, disembowls the large woman in front of you. "No..."
