Chapter 7

"Ow..." I mumbled.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!" Asuna shouted.

"Yes, I got pretty exposed there..." I muttered.

IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING TOO! IT WAS ALL JUST A FUCKING SET UP TO EXPOSE ME AS A PERVERT. I guess they need some entertainment too. Everyone was laughing. I don't know when they had time to plan this but...

"OW!" I shouted, clutching my head. "SHIT! WHAT IS THIS?!"

Everyone looked at me.

"Uh, OW!" I balled up and rolled on the ground.

"Um, what is going on with him? It was just a small spanking," Asuna wondered out loud.

"Yeah, not sure," Sinon said.

I stood up.

"Alice is in trouble," I said seriously.

Suddenly, everybody was serious.

"Come on guys, this way," I said, running off deeper into the cavern... even though it was actually the way towards the exit.

"Where are we going!?" Leafa shouted.

"I'm following my instinct!" I shouted back. "I KNOW IT'S THIS WAY!"

"Why are we following him?" Asuna asked.

"Well, he's dependable, he's a natural leader and he's ALSO A PERVERT!" Leafa responded.

"Seems legit," Asuna answered.

I dropped back a bit. "System Call, Generate Metallic Element! Arrow Shape!" The shape of an arrow constructed from apparitional metal dropped into my hand. I tossed it to Sinon.

"Hey, Sinon, just a heads up, I'm going to throw you at that monster!" I shouted, pointing at the monster that was now within sight.

"Really?!" Sinon yelled back at me.

"Yeah! That's why I gave you the weapon!"

"It's not a very good weapon without the bow!"

"It'll be good enough with enough speed and force!"

"Fine."

"I will take full responsibility if you get injured."

"Too damn bad, you ain't taking responsibility for what happens to me!"

"Fine."

We sprinted towards the monster.

"Here we go Sinon," I said as we got closer.

I lifted her up. "Wait, I need to prepare myself!" She exclaimed.

"Prepare yourself in the air, there isn't much time!" I responded as we saw the Ogre lift its hammer up high to smash Alice. "Wait a min- WOOOOAAAAH!" She yelled as she soared through the air. She took my advice and got into a perfect position to strike in midair.

She stuck the arrow in the juicy part of its eye. It roared in pain and swatted at its face as blood squirted out of its now missing eye as Sinon pulled out the arrow. Sadly, she pulled the arrow out too late and the Ogre grasped her in its massive hand. One hand held her body, while the other seemingly gently plucked off her leg.

"BASTARD!" I shouted, leaping through the air, sinking my spear into its hide, deep enough to pierce the skin. I felt a shockwave go through the Ogre and it dropped Sinon. I yanked the spear out and leaped off the Ogre and caught her in midair and crashed to the ground uncomfortably.

Blood was pouring out of her missing leg at a seemingly unnatural speed but it was a missing body part so I wouldn't know... apart from that time I lost my finger... VERY recently.
