Trigger warning: gore, blood, and let me know if i forget any!

Tommyinnit POV

We traveled for a long time. I don't know how long, but many days and nights passed as we walked and searched for answers. It's already been 2 months i think, of when i woke up. Ive seen no one except for the occasional zombie group. They look at me funny before going on their way. I've also found out that i am... a zombie. I think? The other zombies never communicate with me and show the intelligence of a potato. A really dumb potato too.

I'm not able to die so far. Accidentally impaled myself on a sharp piece of metal, stuck right into my shoulder. Few dark droplets of blood splattered but otherwise it was as if it didn't matter. The flesh and bone was exposed, but it didn't even hurt that much. Everything seemed to have dulled. Pain, temperature, even taste and hunger.

I still feel hungry, but everything i try to eat tastes like dust and cardboard. So I haven't tried to eat anymore and just save the food for Bean. Speaking of Bean, she's really grown and even grew a thicker coat of fur! When it gets cold at night she sits on my shoulder and curls her fluffy tail around my neck. I don't feel cold, but I'm happy she cares about me.

She's now probably about a year old I'm guessing, or somewhere around that timeframe. She's a glorious raccoon, and she's badass. We were rummaging through a dumpster together in a abandoned city, and she pulled out a dead bird and ate it whole. Now that's badass if i ever saw it.

That's basically what we've been doing the past 2 months. I managed to find a spray can and I've been using it so much. I got a weird word stuck in my head, and i put it anywhere i could. On walls, ceilings, bathroom stalls, billboards, all with the same word... "PogChamp" it's very weird, but I don't understand. I think if I continue to use it i might figure out what it might mean. It may have been important to me before i... forgot who i was.

But besides that, me and Bean have just been wandering for ages. We climb buildings, run along bridge railings, anything that seems fun. I never get hurt when i do stuff so why not enjoy it?

I've also kept the small cow keychain with me all the time. I've attached it on my can of blue spray paint, so i can always see it.

I also found a raided pet store and got quite a lot of stuff for Bean. Nothing in there meant for raccoons, but i still got stuff. A portable water bowl, and tons of toys that she seems to love chewing. Also many bags of food and treats and that was a lifesaver. I put it all in a green backpack i found, and i carry it with me.

I myself dont have a bag, just the clothes i woke up with on my body, and my lucky spray can. I don't know if it's actually lucky, but it sounds poggers. I don't really need much, and I don't really use my nose much and I don't think Bean minds my smell if i have one.

Other than that, life has been pretty nice. Just adventuring and looking for any signs of life. And then I finally found it.

Just yesterday i spotted a car racing down the road. I was hidden in a dumpster so whoever was driving Didnt see me. I remember when i found a working car. It was a bright red sports car, and it was awesome driving that baby down the street at 80 miles an hour. But the fun ended when I accidentally crashed it and it exploded. Luckily i only escaped with a few burns. I was glad i left Bean at the nearby cafe instead of driving with her. Otherwise i could have died. She's insane.

Anyways, after i saw that car drive away, I decided to walk in the direction it went. This was my first time seeing someone else! Well, I didn't actually see them, but i knew living people were inside driving! I could smell their freshness, as weird as that sounds.

It took a while, but after a few minutes i spotted the same blue jeep that had drove down the road just before. It was parked in front of a old super market, broken down and covered in vines. I guess when the world stops, nature comes back.
