Tommyinnit POV:

Cold. That was the first thing i felt when i opened my eyes for the first time. And pain. Why was there pain? I looked around, noticing i was in a forested area, with a large barbed wire fence nearby. There was a large hole in the fence, as if someone broke in. Or out?

I turned my attention to the rest of my surroundings, trees stretched as far as i could see. The foliage was painted with red, ambers, and beautiful oranges and yellows. It seemed to be fall. But none of this explained the pain i could feel. It was everywhere, but felt so far away at the same time.

I lifted my hands up, looking down at myself. I wore tan genes and a pair of white tennis shoes, and a white and red tshirt. But the weird part was the multiple tears in the fabrics and splashes of mud and blood on my being.

I lifted my shirt, staring at my pale white, skinny chest with deep scratches and bloody bites. I let out a raspy gasp, and realized my throat was sore too. I tried speaking, but it just came out as a scratchy croak. I reached up to feel my face and neck, finding nothing wrong with my neck, but half of my face was covered in a scar. I delicately touched my cheek, finding a large tear in my left cheek, revealing my teeth on that side and some of my gums. The cut rose just under my eye.

I frowned lightly, wondering what had happened to me. I could feel the pain of the wounds, but it wasn't unbearable. How was i not bleeding out and dying right now? I had multiple open wounds that were quite fresh and seemed to be close to rotting flesh.

I decided to try and focus on that later, wanting to first figure out one thing. Or, a few things. I couldn't remember what was before me waking up, or where the hell i was. It was freaking me out, but the worst part was... who am i? What was my name before i became whatever i am now? I searched my pockets but I couldn't find anything that would remind me of who i am except for a small cow key chain. It felt important, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I shook my head, letting out a groggy sigh. Hopefully my voice would also start working again, it hurt to speak too. I started walking towards the fence, avoiding the sharp wires that stuck to the sides of the hole. It seemed to be have cut by something, maybe a knife or wire cutter, but I wasn't sure. I just moved on, passing the fence onto the other side. It seemed the top part of the fence was pointed out as to keep something in, or out, depends which way was which. But if it was made to keep intruders out, i was walking out of there.

For a long while the forest continued to sprawl out, no end in sight. It was eerily silent, not even a bird chirp in sight. Suddenly i groaned in pain, a sudden image of a bird feeder sitting on a porch. There was a small finch sitting there. It looked at me before quickly flying away with a chitter. As quick as it came, the memory vanished and i held my head in my hands, realizing i fell to my knees in surprise.

What the hell was that? Why did i suddenly have that memory? I felt as though I wasn't alone in the memory though. When i tried thinking more about what the memory consisted of, i felt more pain in my head.

I slowly got up, shaking my head. I continued to walk in the silent forest, looking around for any sign of civilization. The trees all seemed to blend together, as moss and old stones littered the ground. The trees seemed to be a mix of great oaks and old birch, their white papery bark peeling with age. I spotted a few mushrooms growing around, along with the occasional squirrel running past. Other then that, there seemed to be no signs of life in the forest. Just... silent.

It felt like i had walked for years, pushing my way through dense foliage and branches. Finally, after about 2 hours of walking, I finally took in the sight of a neighborhood. Civilization! Finally! I wasn't totally lost after all! Maybe i could get some help and figure out what was going on.

I had to climb over a fence to get in what seemed to be a backyard. This family didnt seem to have mowed their lawn in weeks, maybe even months. There were tall grasses and weeds everywhere, and the small garden to the side was dead and covered in even more weeds. I noticed the back door was open slightly, which made me worried. What if this person's house was robbed when they were away at work?

Being the brave and super cool hero i was, I quietly walked into the house, looking around for any intruders. When i walked in, i was shocked. The whole living room looked like it had been abandoned, dust and pieces of dirt and trash lying about on the ground and the ragged looking furniture. The coffee table had a sheet of grime covering it, and the picture frames were old and ratty looking. Overall the place just looked totally unkempt. Worse of all was the smell. There was a strong stench of mold, maybe some poo. I wasn't sure until i saw a small pile of rabbit pellets in the corner.

I gagged at the smell, letting out a low growl of disgust. I quickly left the room, walking into a hallway. I searched the two story house, finding the same gross and abandoned appearance throughout the house. No intruders i guess. It just seemed to be a abandoned house. Guess the realtors aren't selling this one for a while.

I quickly went back downstairs, deciding to go out the front door. I stopped when i heard a small clatter, coming from the kitchen. I slowly walked in, looking at the many small cabinets and drawers, but there wasn't anyone in here. I shrugged and decided it was just my imagination, before i heard it again inside one of the lower cabinets. I raised a brow before walking over to it, and opening the cupboard. Inside i was shocked to find raccoons! Two to be exact. One was sleeping I assumed, while a much smaller one was messing with a empty can of beans. I chuckled and kneeled down in front of the cabinet.

"H-erro... eh fulla.." i tried talking but it just came out as gibberish. I shrugged, knowing the raccoons wouldn't understand me anyways even if i spoke perfect English. The small one quickly looked up at me and hissed, before scurrying behind it's sleeping friend. It looked like a little baby, and the sleeping one was the parent, I assumed. I grunted softly, trying to show the raccoon i meant no harm. I stood up and shuffled through the cabinets and fridge, soon finding a small packet of dried berries. I went back down, finding the baby raccoon in the same spot, still glaring up at me.

I smiled softly, opening the packet and dropping a few of the dried berries near the raccoon. It sniffed the air suspiciously, before quickly running to grab the berries before going back to its previous spot to eat the berries quickly. That's when I looked over at the sleeping raccoon, noticing a few flies buzzing on the fur. I scowled and shooed the flies away, before realizing the raccoon wasn't moving. Not even a flinch or chest rise of breathing air. That's when I realized, it wasn't asleep, but instead dead. I gently put my hand on it's side, now knowing there was no heart beat.

I frowned, now realizing the raccoon baby was all on it's own. That's when i made the decision to adopt it and raise it as my own. I kept feeding the baby, and after a few minutes I managed to get it to allow me to pet it. It let out a happy chitter as I scratched behind it's ears, and I smiled giving it more berries. But soon i ran all out and frowned, looking for more food. I found a container of trail mix, a mix of chocolates, more dried berries, oats and nuts. I fed the raccoon everything but the chocolates, giving those to myself. They tasted kind of dull, but they still were better then nothing.

I was able to pick up the raccoon, holding it close to my chest. It nuzled up to me, not caring about the dirt and grime on my clothes. They seemed to be about 8-9 months old or so. I smiled happily, grabbing the container of trail mix and getting up while holding the baby raccoon in my arms. Before i left the house, i pet the dead parent raccoon and covered it in a old blanket before leaving. It was the best i could do.

Now it was just me and Bean, out into the great unknown! And yes, I decided to name them Bean, since it was cute and i found them eating out of a green bean container. Hopefully together me and Bean could find out who i was, and where the hell we were.

To Be Continued! Please let me know if i made any spelling mistakes or any of the sort! Thank you for reading! I've had this idea in my head for so long with writer's block but I finally started writing again! Hopefully you guys like it!
